Realizing what had happened, Eastern Yun Fei began to shout angrily and lunged at Chen Nan, attempting to take the Butterfly Knife back. But Chen Nan simply dodged to the side with ease.

Eastern Yun Fei was seething with frustration; she had wanted to play a trick on Chen Nan and ended up being outplayed instead.

Chen Nan chuckled coldly in his heart, flicked the Butterfly Knife in his hand, and said with a smile, “Yun Fei, why are you getting so worked up? It’s not your knife anyway.”

Chen Nan scratched his head, “Really? Then would it respond if you called it?”

Yun Fei gnashed her teeth and glared at Chen Nan, “You’re just being unreasonable!”
Chen Nan shrugged his shoulders, “Since you can’t make it respond, it’s in my hands now, so it’s mine.”

Yun Fei pointed at Chen Nan, stomping her feet in frustration but was helpless.
Chen Nan burst into laughter and tossed an apple towards Yun Fei, “Thanks for the knife, Yun Fei. Here, eat an apple to cool down.”
“Cool down, my foot!”
Yun Fei threw the apple right back at him.
Chen Nan caught the apple and took a bite with a grin, saying with a sigh, “Hmm, so sweet, really delicious.”
“Eat, eat, eat, may you choke, you bastard!”
Yun Fei clenched her fists tightly, staring daggers at Chen Nan, wishing she could slap him all the way to Mars.
Chen Nan just shrugged his shoulders and then proceeded to ignore her.
“Alright, stop ssing around,” Su Yixuan said with a smile, looking over at Chen Nan, “Are you free tonight? Co out with for a bit.”
“Go out?” Chen Nan was taken aback, “What for?”
“I’ll tell you later.”
“Keeping in suspense?” Chen Nan shook his head, “Nope, not going.”
“I’ll pay you overti.”
Chen Nan’s eyes lit up, “A thousand bucks, cash upfront.”
“Five hundred.”
“Deal.”
“…”
Next to them, Su Qingqing and Yun Fei were utterly speechless. This guy really had a way with money.
Ten minutes later, the two of them headed out.
Sitting in the car, Chen Nan chatted with Su Yixuan for a while but found it quite boring, as Su Yixuan wasn’t much of a talker. So, he started playing with the buttons on the dashboard, suddenly saying, “Yixuan, your car is pretty fancy, let have a go at driving it.”
