Chen Nan didn’t argue back at all.
It wasn’t that he was good-natured, but rather that he currently needed the chicken’s help, so he didn’t want to quibble with this beast.

The Black Feathered Chicken strutted with its large head held high, proudly flying fast towards the east under Chen Nan’s direction.

The entire hotel vicinity was festooned with lights and decorations, a scene of festivity.

A man and a chicken landed in a secluded place before quickly running towards the hotel.
When they got to the hotel entrance, the bridal caravan hadn’t arrived yet. Chen Nan was prepared to wait a while, but just then a taxi stopped, and Yun Fei got out of the car, seeming to have just arrived herself.
“Chen Xiaonan!”
Upon seeing Chen Nan, Yun Fei could hardly believe her eyes.
Yun Fei knew so of the past between Chen Nan and Li Xiao, but she was unclear about the reason they split up. Now that she saw Chen Nan here, she hurriedly approached him, “What are you doing here? You’re not here to cause trouble, are you?”
Chen Nan felt helpless as she guessed right on the mark; he was indeed here to disrupt the wedding.
“? Cause trouble? I’m here to wish her well,” Chen Nan said calmly.
“Then I’m relieved,” Yun Fei breathed a sigh of relief and added, “I thought you, bastard, were here to steal the bride!”
Chen Nan shrugged, saying, “If I really were here to steal the bride, would you stop ?”
“I couldn’t care less about you. If you’ve got the guts, then go ahead and try. Watch and see if her relatives and friends don’t beat you up,” teased Yun Fei, not realizing that Chen Nan was really there to steal the bride.
“When will she arrive?” Chen Nan inquired.
“I just called her; she said she would be here around ten o’clock,” Yun Fei answered.
Chen Nan checked the ti: “It’s nine forty now.”
“You seem pretty anxious?” Yun Fei gloated, “Are you regretting breaking up with her?”
“I don’t want to talk about it with you.”
“Tsk!”
Yun Fei snorted, “I could not bother with you even if I wanted to!”
Twenty minutes quickly passed, and the bridal caravan arrived like a long dragon, adorned with balloons and strears, heading this way.
