"I’ve seen his information, he’s the Director of the Chongyang City Investigation Bureau, Chen Daoling."
Nearby, Jiang Feiniao asked:
"Is the Mandala Lineage performing a ritual? What are they trying to do?"
"Not an ordinary ritual," the Yellow Teeth Old Man said calmly. "It’s a special Buddhist rite, frequently held decades ago, using the Ling Mountain Lineage believers as sacrifices to offer to the Mandala Lineage’s Divine Buddhas."
After a pause, he continued:
"In this light, that Chen Daoling is probably a ’remnant’ of the Ling Mountain Lineage..."
Amidst the murmuring of the Yellow Teeth Old Man, the Porcelain Doll already wore an icy expression, with barely discernible starlight flickering in his eyes, perceiving the underlying causes and effects.
In the distance, many monks suddenly turned their heads, peering at them intently.
Leading them, a big monk entwined with six won, held a compass made from a skull,

The big monk smiled, surrounded by six naked won wrapping around him like sinister snakes.
"Those people don’t appear simple, inform them back there, prepare for a hunt."
As he spoke, the big monk walked forward, each step producing a wondrous lotus, emitting an eternal Brahma sound!
"My Buddha is rciful."
He abruptly appeared close, his voice resonant like a morning bell and dusk drum:
"I wonder from where you all co, and where you all are going?"
The monk was inquiring, more Mandala Sect mbers slowly encroached on them.`
