Driving the car, Sumr Sutton took Watt Bennet to what seed to be a shopping street.
Watt sat quietly beside her, unsure of her intentions.
After getting out of the car, he simply followed behind Sumr, letting her lead him.
It was still early, and many stores hadn’t opened yet.
Sumr led him through several streets and finally into a watch store.
After browsing the store, she stopped at the couples’ watch counter.
Sumr stared at the watches in the display case for quite a while, then asked the clerk to take them out. She tried one on herself and then put one on Watt.
The things she chose seed to fit him perfectly, both in style and size.
Sumr gave the watch a brief try, looked satisfied, and went straight to the counter to pay.
A pair of watches, fifty thousand—a far cry from Adrian Walyon’s watches that cost millions.
However, for soone like Sumr Sutton, a working-class person, it was not cheap.
Fifty thousand—this was already several months’ salary for her.
After walking out, Sumr put the watch on his wrist.
Swiftly fastening the strap, Sumr also wore hers.
"Sumr..." Watt took a deep breath.
Sumr ignored his words, inspected his hand with the watch, and spoke domineeringly, "My gift, you’ve already accepted it. From today on, you are my boyfriend!"
On the comrcial street, just past nine o’clock, there were very few pedestrians.
Sumr raised his hand, her voice echoing down the long street, "Watt, listen, I’m pursuing you! Accept my gift, and you’re not allowed to take it back!"
Her words were as forceful as a declaration, each word brushing past Watt’s ears and gently striking his heart.
When did he ever accept her gift?
From beginning to end, she hadn’t given him a chance to refuse.
Watt quietly stared at the very serious Sumr Sutton for a long ti. His face was expressionless, but his gaze was warm.
He never imagined what Sumr Sutton would look like when she beca assertive in front of him. When he finally saw it, he found this side of her quite adorable.
Adorable to the point of being heart-wrenching...
His eyes lingered on her face for a long ti, deep and dark, yet carrying an indescribable gentleness.
Sumr didn’t care that they were still on the street. She leaned closer to him, bent her face down, and kissed him on the lips...
Wrapping her arms around his neck, she kissed him for an unusually long ti, so long that it seed she didn’t want to let him go.
Until, in her vision, a familiar figure suddenly appeared.
Diana Wood stood a few ters away, staring fixedly at her.
She was with a Walyon Family servant, probably out for a coffee and a stroll since there was nothing to do at ho.
She didn’t know how long Diana had been there, but it seed she had seen the entire scene just now.
Sumr’s eyes t hers, and she suddenly froze.
She hadn’t divorced Adrian Walyon, so technically, she was still part of the Walyon Family.
In the context of not divorcing Adrian, she was openly kissing another man on the street in front of her legal mother-in-law.
Even though this man and Adrian Walyon were the sa person.
But Diana didn’t know that!
In her eyes, Sumr Sutton was now openly doing sothing unfaithful to Adrian.
