Sumr Sutton felt sowhat desperate. She tried to communicate with a group of people using sign language, but her sign language skills were even worse than her English. She gestured for a long ti, yet it seed no one understood.
Sumr was so anxious she nearly spun circles in the car.
"Where are you taking ?" Once again, she tried asking in English.
But no one paid attention to her.
No one understood a word she said from beginning to end.
Sumr felt helpless and could only sit in the car passively, following this group of people.
At this mont, she held a small hope in her heart that these people were the Inks, and the place they were taking her to was the Ink Family.
If that were the case, she wouldn’t have to find them herself; she could et the Inks.
She had a hopeful thought, and eventually, the place they took her to was a castle that looked like a residence of the Inks.
Didn’t the driver say so?
The Ink Family prevented anyone from approaching from far around this area; presumably, the only ones living here were the Inks.
When Sumr walked in, she felt a slight excitent.
But unexpectedly, once inside the castle, she didn’t see anyone who looked like the owner of this place. Instead, she was directly locked in an isolated room.
The people who brought her in pushed Sumr into the room and intended to leave.
"Hey, wait! Wait!" Sumr quickly rushed to the door, trying to stop them from closing it. However, the person outside didn’t even glance at her and slamd the door shut.
The sound of footsteps leaving down the hallway made Sumr’s heart sink to the bottom.
What did these people plan to do by locking her here?
This is an age that respects the law; these people are illegally imprisoning her!
Sumr never thought she’d encounter this when she ca here.
In a society ruled by law, how could soone have the audacity to openly confine her?
Or is the legendary Ink Family incredibly powerful?
As she pondered, an increasingly ominous feeling grew inside her.
At this point, she even thought that the Ink Family might treat her as an intruder or soone stealing secrets, and secretly eliminate her?
Thinking about this, a chill ran down Sumr’s back.
What should she do?
How could she escape?

After Sumr was locked in the room, the hallway outside remained silent for a long ti.
No one cared about her well-being throughout the entire day.
Feeling anxious and uneasy, she endured an entire day. By dusk, as darkness approached, a middle-aged man resembling a butler arrived with several bodyguards.
Contrary to the bodyguards’ roughness, the butler was polite and courteous.
Upon entering the room, the butler looked Sumr over from top to bottom and asked her in English, "Miss, may I ask your purpose for coming here?"
There was no hostility in his voice, and his attitude was rather polite.
This relieved Sumr a bit.
"I want to see Old Master Ink!" Sumr replied in English.
"And why do you wish to see the old master?" the butler asked again.
"It’s like this, there is soone very important to who recently experienced a plane crash. His leg is seriously injured. He’s been to many places and seen many doctors over the recent period, but nobody has been able to heal it. I heard Old Master Ink once went through sothing similar. I thought maybe the old master could help us!" She spoke with utmost sincerity, nearly reaching to grab the butler’s hand and plead.
Now, the Ink Family was Sumr’s only hope. Besides them, she couldn’t think of any other solution.
