The Old Master turned his head to look at her, his expression stiffening again and again.
It seed he was at a loss for words with Sumr Sutton, as if he had never t soone so cowardly.
"Forget it, I won’t bother you anymore." He threw her a sentence in exasperation, then slowly began to land the plane.
At first, his maneuvering went smoothly enough.
But as the plane continued, an unknown problem arose, and suddenly the plane plunged straight downwards.
Watching the ground getting closer and closer, Sumr Sutton was shocked pale.
She wasn’t ready to die yet. If she were to die here, what would happen to Adrian Walyon’s leg injury?
Manuel Ink was still on the ground waiting, and from Sumr Sutton’s angle, she could see him running frantically in her direction.
Running so vigorously, it seed he was terribly anxious.
"Parachute! Parachute!" Amongst the chaos, Sumr Sutton seed to hear him shouting at the top of his lungs.
That’s right, the parachute!
Sumr Sutton snapped back to reality, grabbing the parachute prepared on the plane and pulled it open.
The plane piloted by the Old Master Ink wasn’t flying very high, possibly under 1000 ters.
At such a distance, using a parachute was safe.
However, Sumr Sutton hadn’t been trained on how to operate a parachute beforehand. After opening it, unsure of what to do next, the Old Master Ink grabbed her, skillfully supporting the parachute with his other hand, and gently guided them towards the ground.
The Old Master had ntioned earlier that he used to fly fighter jets.
Even at his age, he was still remarkably quick in responding to ergencies.
Seeing him like this, Sumr Sutton suddenly understood where Manuel Ink’s excellence ca from.
Manuel Ink was still running towards her, wherever the parachute drifted, he followed.
The rain was pouring heavily today, hitting his face and quickly soaking his clean shirt. At this mont, his face and body were drenched, but he didn’t seem to mind, steadfastly running towards Sumr Sutton.
He was like a man as sacred as moonlight, and seeing him like this left Sumr Sutton dumbfounded.
The parachute had already landed in a forest; during the descent, Sumr Sutton’s limbs were scratched by branches, but fortunately, she and the Old Master both landed safely and soundly.
They weren’t seriously injured, aside from scratches on their arms and legs, and a sprained ankle.
Just as they landed, Manuel Ink arrived.
Seeing the two sitting on the ground, conscious, the chaos in his eyes slowly cald.
He strode over to Sumr Sutton, crouched down, and checked her injuries, "Where are you hurt? Does it hurt?"
Sumr Sutton shook her head.
Manuel Ink glanced at her.
Overwheld by his gaze, Sumr Sutton changed her tone, "A little bit."
Manuel Ink didn’t ask further, he lifted her up and carried her out of the forest.
The Old Master Ink was still sitting on the ground, also a bit injured, but Manuel didn’t glance at him or inquire about the old man’s condition.
The Old Master watched the two of them leave, then climbed up from the ground, muttering through clenched teeth, "Manuel Ink, you brat!"
Wringing out the water from his clothes, he hobbled towards the approaching doctor and nurses.

Back at the castle, Manuel Ink brought Sumr Sutton to a room and arranged for a doctor to give her a thorough examination.
With her ankle sprained, Sumr Sutton would likely have to stay here for the next few days.
