"You don’t have to do this." Manuel Ink reminded her.
Sumr Sutton was anxious at that mont, who cared about all that?
"I can’t just let you take that hit for nothing on my behalf!" She inhaled sharply, her brows knitted tightly.
Her words were very much taken for granted.
Manuel was startled, thinking of the Old Master’s words just now, his gaze slowly ward.
"Right, where’s the dicine? At a ti like this, Sumr Sutton was in such pain but hadn’t forgotten her most treasured item.
Even after being hit, she had to take the dicine with her.
"I’ll have the servants bring it up." Manuel said.
Sumr smiled at him, rubbing her aching back as she headed to the balcony.
Her eyes wandered to a bunch of flowers she couldn’t na, and she couldn’t help but sigh, "The treasures of the Ink Family are indeed many!"
"What do you want to do now?" Suddenly, the Old Master’s stern voice ca from outside the room.
Startled, Sumr cautiously turned her head to glance at him and awkwardly laughed, "How could I? Grandpa, you’re overthinking! Ha, haha..."
"Better be so!" Old Master Ink gritted his teeth, threw a glance at her and Manuel, then left the room.
After he left, Sumr let out a gentle breath.
Manuel stayed with her in the room for a while, then seed to get busy with sothing.
When Sumr passed by his room, he was just packing his luggage.
"Are you going out?" Sumr stopped and asked casually.
"Mm." Manuel responded to her.
His words made Sumr pause.
She almost forgot he was a businessman.
"How long are you going to be gone?" Sumr asked again.
"About ten days or so." Manuel replied.
His words caused Sumr’s heart to sink slightly, suddenly feeling anxious.
Him leaving would an facing the Old Master alone in the castle; considering how impulsive she could be, would she be receiving the Old Master’s beating stick daily?
Or perhaps, she might be dragged around on the ground and then thrown into the air? Would they not rest until she was battered and bruised all over for a day?
Thinking about it made Sumr suddenly a bit fearful.
Manuel turned his back to her, finishing packing his suitcase.
Turning his head to see her seeming a bit apprehensive, Manuel almost imdiately saw through her thoughts.
After a mont of silent contemplation, he tentatively asked, "Want to go together?"
"Can I?" Sumr’s face suddenly lifted, her eyes brightening considerably, "Won’t I interfere with your work?"
"Isn’t it boring staying in the castle every day anyway?" Manuel didn’t say much more, pulling out his phone to book her flight ticket.
Sumr was delighted, Manuel letting her go along was practically saving her life!
No matter what, being with Manuel was definitely safer than staying at the castle with the Old Master.
"I’ll pack my things right away!" She quickly closed his room door and thumped towards her own room.
She ran fast, her footsteps were light.
Such was her deanor that it made the corners of Manuel’s lips twitch.

When Sumr arrived at the Ink Family Castle, she was alone, having brought nothing with her.
Returning to her room to pack, naturally, there wasn’t much to pack.
She casually picked a few clothes Manuel had soone prepare for her, packed them in a small suitcase, and appeared in front of Manuel with a cheerful smile, dragging her suitcase.
This ti, when Manuel went out, it wasn’t as grandiose as before, bringing along a crowd.
This ti, it was just him, a personal jet pilot, and Sumr Sutton.
