A large convoy of cars slowly left the airport after that.
Watt Bennet sat rigidly in his car, staring intently in the direction Sumr Sutton left, lost in thought for a long ti.
She didn’t want to go back with him...
He seed to be hit hard, staying in the sa position in a daze for a long ti, before he raised his hand and slamd it against the car door beside him.
Marshall Quinn looked at him from the front, feeling particularly troubled.
He wanted to say sothing but didn’t know how to.
After a long silence, he squeezed out the words, "Maybe Miss Sutton has her reasons?"
Watt didn’t listen, and with Sumr Sutton gone, leaving New York today didn’t hold any aning for him.
He instructed Marshall to turn the car around, and they went back to the hotel they had previously stayed in.
...
It was already very late, and after Sumr Sutton returned with Manuel Ink, she stayed overnight at the hotel that night.
Manuel Ink did not change his plans to stay in North Arica because of Watt Bennet’s appearance. He continued with his daily activities and did not leave New York early with Sumr Sutton.
Whenever he went sowhere, Sumr Sutton accompanied him.
Manuel ca this ti solely for business.
In the days that followed, he t with several clients.
Coincidentally or not, each ti they t a client at a restaurant, they would run into Watt Bennet.
Watt Bennet did not avoid the presence of Manuel Ink at all, openly walking past them ti and again at their table.
He was clearly doing it on purpose, and every ti he passed by, sothing unexpected would happen.
As a result, whenever they encountered him, Sumr Sutton would either spill her coffee on her dress when he tripped her, forcing her to leave early, or have her ankle tripped multiple tis, or sothing would happen around them disrupting the negotiations.
Wherever Watt Bennet was, incidents would keep occurring.
This behavior made Sumr Sutton quite angry.
She took several deep breaths and stood up abruptly. As Watt Bennet approached her again, she headed towards the restaurant’s back garden before anything could happen.
As soon as she left, Watt Bennet predictably followed her into the garden.
"Mr. Bennet!" Sumr Sutton took a deep breath, turning her gaze to him, seeing him looking conflicted.
"Annoyed?" Watt gave a cold smile at her reaction, "Then co back with !"
"I told you I can’t leave yet!" Sumr stubbornly insisted on this point, turning back towards the dining area.
She left quickly without a trace of reluctance, which suddenly made Watt Bennet a bit agitated.
He stared fixedly at her retreating figure, clenching and unclenching the armrest with his hand...
He lingered in the garden for a while, and when he ca out, Sumr Sutton was no longer in the restaurant; it seed she had left.
Watt Bennet glanced quietly at the spot where she had sat before, his eyes gradually glazing over with a layer of chill...
...
After leaving the restaurant, Sumr Sutton went straight back to the hotel.
Manuel Ink had been in North Arica for several days, and everything was wrapped up today.
After returning to the hotel, they made no stops; Manuel booked tickets and took Sumr Sutton back to the Ink Family Castle.
Upon entering the house, they happened to see Old Master.
Old Master cast a glance at Sumr Sutton standing beside Manuel, sowhat surprised that she had returned with him again.
He thought she would take the opportunity to slip away!
"Grandpa Ink, we’re back!" Sumr Sutton greeted him politely.
