Sumr Sutton didn’t hesitate much and bent down to get into his car.
"Where do you live?" Manuel Ink asked after starting the car.
Sumr Sutton gave the address of Morning Garden.
Manuel didn’t say much and slowly drove towards the address she provided.
Sumr sat in the back, watching him intently.
Thinking about all the treatnt she received at the company, she tentatively asked, "Did you know early on that I was working at Royal Delight?"
The answer to this question was obvious.
Not to ntion that if Manuel Ink wanted to investigate soone, he could understand everything about them with just a word.
Royal Delight recruits a new producer only every two years, and Sumr Sutton was one of the two who hadn’t been eliminated yet. If Manuel paid even a little attention to the company, he would know about her.
He didn’t speak, but Sumr understood everything.
"Thank you, for a lot of things." Sumr genuinely expressed her gratitude.
"No, it’s got nothing to do with . This is the treatnt your own ability deserves." Manuel casually threw back at her.
Sumr Sutton just smiled lightly at his words.
She knew he said this just to not give her any psychological burden.
In reality, Sumr was very clear in her heart.
For soone to develop smoothly, ability is important, but having soone give you an opportunity is often more crucial than ability.
The car continued to drive on the road, and afterwards, it was relatively quiet inside.
After dropping Sumr Sutton off at Morning Garden, Manuel Ink didn’t linger, driving away imdiately.
Sumr turned around, ready to enter the house, but froze upon seeing the figure at the door.
Watt Bennet, not sure when he arrived, was standing at the doorway, staring at her.
He had clearly seen everything just now, and his face was dark and stormy.
Sumr Sutton didn’t expect him to return here today. She stared at him blankly for quite a while before snapping out of it.
"Why are you here?"
She thought that, given his recent coldness towards her and his reluctance to acknowledge his identity as Adrian Walyon, he wouldn’t appear at Morning Garden unless sothing special happened.
Watt didn’t respond to her; his eyes were still fixed intensely on her face.
The chill on his face was heavy, and his gaze was as cold as a sharp dagger.
"Did you have dinner with him tonight?" he asked in a gloomy tone.
Sumr Sutton remained silent and said nothing.
Watt took a deep breath, suddenly letting out a cold laugh.
Sumr Sutton dreaded seeing this kind of smile from him; every ti she saw it, it gave her a bad feeling.
"It was with a colleague," Sumr threw back a sentence and brushed past him to enter the house.
After going inside, she ignored Watt.
She played with Unity for a while, then went upstairs on her own, took a shower, brushed her teeth, washed her face, and after coming out of the bathroom, wandered back and forth on her slender, fair legs, tidying up the room.
Watt stood at the door, his gaze lingering on her for quite so ti.
Watching her walk back and forth in front of him, when Sumr bent down to tidy up the bed, he suddenly and slowly walked toward her.
Sumr quickly finished making the bed and was about to go to bed, but Watt’s body suddenly pressed up from behind.
He was standing.
His leg injury hadn’t fully healed, but when it ca to this matter, he was very insistent.
This was Adrian Walyon’s macho pride; in matters between husband and wife, he had to be the dominant one at all tis!
The burning body behind her made Sumr freeze for a few seconds.
Sumr’s mind buzzed, montarily unable to understand why he had suddenly done this.
