The Walyon Family has always been low-key over the years. Except for special occasions like Old Master Walyon’s birthday, they rarely invite many guests to their house.
This ti, a banquet was set up, and naturally, many guests attended. Nearly everyone invited accepted the invitation.
Sumr Sutton got off work at five and went to Shining Sky to wait for Watt Bennet.
Sitting quietly in the office, she just watched him without asking whether he was going or not.
Watt Bennet was still deliberating until six-thirty when the banquet was about to start.
He took quite a while to decide, considering it since last night and all of today. By almost seven, Sumr Sutton thought he wouldn’t go. Unexpectedly, he tidied up his desk and stood up.
"Let’s go, together!" Watt Bennet threw a sentence to Sumr Sutton and walked out of the company ahead of her.
Sumr Sutton actually hoped he would go. Paul Walyon and Old Master Walyon both love him dearly. She hoped Watt Bennet would go back and see them.
However, thinking about his plan, Sumr Sutton felt a bit uneasy.
She lifted her face to look at the man in front, and quickly followed him.
After leaving Shining Sky, the two first went to the comrcial street to pick a gift, and then went to the Walyon Family.
The gift was chosen by Watt Bennet. He knew exactly what his own father, Paul Walyon, liked.
He picked an antique vase, which was worth tens of millions on the market.
When they arrived at the Walyon Family, it seed many guests were already there. Sumr Sutton and Watt Bennet were among the last to arrive.
Diana Wood was dressed very elegantly tonight, mingling among the guests and greeting everyone with poise.
On the occasion of her husband’s birthday, she was in a good mood and smiled slightly when speaking to everyone.
However, when her gaze swept over to Sumr Sutton and Watt Bennet entering the house, her expression imdiately stiffened.
These two, showing off their love in front of the dia all day long was one thing, but now they’re doing it at ho?
Just as she was about to get angry, the butler beside her quietly reminded her, "Madam, today is Sir’s birthday, a festive day. It’s not appropriate to get angry."
Diana Wood thought about it and realized it made sense.
Moreover, with so many guests present tonight, losing her temper in front of everyone would ruin the elegant image she’s always cultivated.
There was another reason, however, that Diana Wood didn’t really want to admit.
No matter how angry she got, when she saw Watt Bennet’s face, despite not knowing what he looked like under the mask, she just couldn’t vent her anger.
This feeling was particularly strange, almost like when she used to face Adrian Walyon.
At this mont, Sophie Walyon happened to co downstairs and saw Sumr Sutton. He seed a bit excited.
The small figure ran over and opened his arms, hugging Sumr Sutton tightly, "Little Sister-in-law, you’re finally back! Did you co to see ? I missed you so much!"
He’s already nine now, starting to grow taller, yet he hugged Sumr Sutton tightly, clinging onto her leg.
Watt Bennet stood nearby, his face darkening even further.
Sophie Walyon didn’t notice him at all, his eyes were only on Sumr Sutton.
He hugged Sumr Sutton tightly and even rubbed his head against her leg, "Did you miss ? Didn’t you think about coming back to see ? Even though my brother’s gone, you’re still my sister-in-law!"
Sophie Walyon kept rubbing against Sumr Sutton’s leg. Watching his head burrow into her, Watt Bennet thought he looked very much like a little white pig.
