"Sumr, are you cold?" Amidst the glimring lights, his voice softly echoed, hoarse like the sound of the wind brushing through the trees.
Sumr Sutton had been drinking, and the alcohol’s influence kept her warm even in the snow.
She foresaw what he intended to do, and if he had asked her under normal circumstances, she would definitely feign cold to make him abandon the impulse.
However, tonight she was exceptionally honest.
The alcohol was strong enough; she even forgot to tell him any lies.
Sumr Sutton glanced into his eyes and gently shook her head, "Not cold."
As soon as her voice fell, Adrian Walyon’s kiss descended once more.
This ti, unlike before when it was just a light peck, he kissed fiercely, as if releasing sothing pent up for a long ti.
He pressed Sumr Sutton down onto the snow, taking off his coat to cushion her, his tall body covering hers, shielding her from most of the cold. The warmth radiating from him eased her, sharing his heat with her, keeping her warm. He leaned down...
On this snowy night, Sutton Gardens had a charm it usually didn’t possess.
The trees had shed their leaves, with branches now laden with snow, dressing the entire garden in a silver attire.
Occasional sounds of snow-laden branches falling added to the serenity of the night.
In the garden, their breaths were chaotic, heavy gasps slowly dispersing in the air, warming the snowy night.
Sumr Sutton felt dizzy, allowing him to do whatever he wished the entire ti, neither pushing him away nor struggling, even forgetting her own restraint.
Their bodies entangled in the snow for nearly an hour, Sumr Sutton’s head still ached with pressure when Adrian Walyon held her wanting to go inside, yet she pointed towards the lakeside, suddenly curious tonight.
"Adrian Walyon, I want to go look over there."
"To the lakeside?" Adrian Walyon lifted an eyebrow.
Sumr Sutton’s intention was clearly misinterpreted by him.
"Yes, the lakeside." Not knowing what he was thinking, Sumr Sutton nodded.
"Do you like the lakeside?" Adrian Walyon confird with her again.
"Yes, the lakeside." Sumr Sutton couldn’t see what the issue was.
Her head hurt significantly; perhaps a walk by the lake, feeling the breeze, could help clear her mind.
"Such a peculiar taste?" But he liked it!
Adrian Walyon teased her playfully, carrying her towards the garden’s lakeside.
Setting Sumr Sutton on a bench by the lake, his intention was for them to continue.
Yet, just as his face approached her, Sumr Sutton lifted a snow-covered hand and tapped his cheek.
Adrian Walyon paused in surprise.
"I just wanted to feel the breeze, what were you thinking?" She looked at him, a tender smile at her lips.
Adrian Walyon initially felt annoyed at being ’attacked’.
But, seeing the slight curve of her smile, all anger faded away.
"In this winter chill, what’s good about feeling the breeze?" Completely losing the spirit he had when coming over, Adrian Walyon picked her up and headed inside.
Returning with Sumr Sutton to the room, he helped her take off her jacket, then went downstairs to prepare her a cup of hot milk.
As he ascended the stairs, he initially wondered whether Sumr Sutton, after spending an hour in the garden and drinking, would pass out as soon as she hit the bed.
Yet upon returning to the room, she had left the bed and naughtily went to the terrace.
Her legs curled up, like a small animal nestled into the sofa on the terrace, she gazed at him with eyes clear and bright.
The winter skirt she wore, in two thin pieces, outlined her body’s curves perfectly.
