Sumr Sutton felt herself on the verge of collapse, her mind dizzy and leaning forward to rest when a shadow filled with anger appeared in her view.
In the night, a tall figure walked in from outside the restaurant, heading straight in her direction, his tense handso face radiating cold.
He seed to arrive in a hurry, the wind tousling the fringe of his hair, with snow on his shoulders.
Sumr Sutton stared blankly at the approaching man, thinking it was just her imagination.
She rubbed her eyes, and seeing the man still clearly there, realized he was real, her face instantly turned pale.
Why was he here?
Sumr Sutton hadn’t told him where she was going today.
Adrian Walyon continued to walk step by step toward her.
His footsteps were heavy, with a fierce look in his eyes, as if he ca to chop soone.
Sumr Sutton was scared by him, her eyes darting around as she considered fleeing before he reached her.
Ariella Sawyer looked at her, then at Adrian Walyon, unsure of the situation.
Adrian Walyon had already co over, his gaze bypassing everyone and landing directly on Sumr Sutton.
His gaze was so sharp that Ariella Sawyer instinctively misunderstood.
Taking him as soone causing trouble, she gallantly pushed Sumr Sutton behind her, blocking in front of her, "This gentleman, let’s talk this out, Sumr is my employee, if there’s any problem you talk to , let’s discuss it, don’t resort to physical action!"
Adrian Walyon ignored her words, coldly spat out two words at Sumr Sutton, "Co over!"
Sumr Sutton was sowhat afraid of him at this mont, shrinking behind Ariella Sawyer, she shook her head, "No!"
"You know each other?" Ariella Sawyer turned her head towards her.
Not wanting her colleague to overthink, Sumr Sutton decisively denied, "I don’t know him."
Adrian Walyon’s already grim expression seed to grow even colder.
Sumr Sutton’s back was cold with fear from his gaze, almost breaking out in a cold sweat.
However, since she had already spoken, she couldn’t change her words.
"Why is he looking for you if you don’t know him?" Ariella Sawyer asked again.
Seeing her hesitation, Ariella Sawyer was sowhat suspicious, "Have you drunk too much?"
Don’t even know people anymore...
Sumr Sutton, "..."
Adrian Walyon, still with a cold face, once more spat out two words, "Co over!"
Sumr Sutton didn’t have the guts, she released Ariella Sawyer’s hand and turned to run in the opposite direction.
Leaving behind only a sentence for Ariella Sawyer, "I’m heading back first, you guys continue!"
She ran quickly, like running for her life, disappearing in a flash.
However, just as she ran out the restaurant door, she suddenly fell to the ground.
Sumr Sutton grimaced in pain, her face crashed into the snow, making her shiver fiercely from the cold.
Before she could get up from the ground, suddenly darkness fell in front of her, a shadow blocking her path.
Sumr Sutton slowly raised her face, looking at the person in front of her, her heart silently lanting.
Adrian Walyon lowered his eyes, his stare fixed on her face, as cold as ice and snow.
"We don’t know each other?" word by word, he asked through gritted teeth.
Sumr Sutton’s mind quickly worked, she got up, her body unsteady as she fell into his arms, rubbing her sore forehead, pretending to be drunk, "I think I really drank a bit too much tonight, where am I?"
Raising her face, she cautiously glanced at him.
Adrian Walyon’s expression remained icy and intense, clearly not believing her words.
