Sumr Sutton felt a bit embarrassed.
Because going out late at night for such a thing made her feel awkward just thinking about it.
Luckily, the elders didn’t ask much.
Adrian Walyon took Sumr Sutton out the Walyon Family’s door and drove straight to the nearest pharmacy.
As he drove, Adrian casually asked, "What kind do you like?"
Sumr Sutton was stunned.
"Thinner, smoother, or with texture?" Adrian asked again.
The more he talked, the more outrageous it got.
Sumr Sutton’s face turned beet red, and she scolded him, "Adrian Walyon, enough!"
Adrian glanced at her with indifference, clearly unimpressed by her words.
It hadn’t even started yet, how could it be enough?
Continuing to drive, they found the pharmacy, and as they went inside, Sumr Sutton kept her head low, using her hands to cover her face continuously.
"Relax, not many people know you here," Adrian teased.
Sumr Sutton felt so angry that she wanted to punch him.
It’s called being shy, embarrassed.
Did everyone have to be as shaless as he was?
With a good mood, Adrian purchased a few boxes, paid, and walked out while holding her hand.
He glanced at her sideways and lowered his voice in her ear, "How long do you think it’ll take us to use these up?"
Sumr Sutton was dumbfounded.
She refused to answer such shaless questions!
Finding it amusing to tease her, Adrian laughed heartily.
When they got back ho, passing through the living room, a strong aroma wafted from the dining room.
Ryan Walyon was having a late-night al, sitting alone at a two-ter long dining table, enjoying a hotpot with a table full of dishes.
"Back!" Noticing the two of them, he called out a greeting.
"Yeah." Adrian responded and was about to pull Sumr Sutton upstairs.
Ryan suggested, "Want to join? The housekeeper prepared too much food."
Before Adrian could agree, Sumr Sutton spoke up, "Sure! Just got back from outside, freezing, the hotpot is perfect to warm up."
She actually just didn’t want to go to the room with Adrian for that kind of thing, and without considering Adrian, she went straight to the dining table.
Adrian glared at her hard and could only follow suit helplessly.
He went to the kitchen to get two sets of dishes and chopsticks, and he and Sumr Sutton sat down.
"You knew it was cold outside, yet you went out?" Ryan glanced at Sumr Sutton and said.
"..." Sumr Sutton didn’t know how to answer him for a mont, so she turned her gaze to Adrian.
Adrian helped her with so food and nonchalantly said, "Sumr likes snowy scenes, so we went out to see the snow."
He said it with a straight face, as if their outing really was for that reason, and he seriously added, "People who grew up in warm cities rarely see such things."
Ryan knew he was being perfunctory but didn’t expose him.
Late at night, with everything dim and dark, watching snow?
As he was about to pick up so food with his chopsticks, he caught sight of the pharmacy bag beside Adrian, and his hand paused slightly.
Staring at the boxes in the bag, his gaze lingered for a few seconds before he poured Adrian a glass of wine, clinked glasses with him, and said, "Want to have a couple of drinks? It’s rare for us brothers to sit together like this."
Ryan hadn’t been back in the country for long, and during this ti, Adrian and Sumr Sutton had been staying at Sutton Gardens alone every day, so the brothers really seldom sat down and chatted like this.
Without refusing, Adrian drank the wine Ryan poured in one go.
Sumr Sutton sat quietly nearby, slightly filling her stomach, listening to the two brothers talk.
They chatted a lot about their childhood, the company, shared friends; there were plenty of topics to discuss.
