Adrian’s thick-skinned nature isn’t a new developnt; acting as if nothing happened, he walks over and takes the breakfast.

Adrian carries a bowl over to the bedside, ignoring the presence of others, and starts feeding Sumr himself, "Drink up!"
His tone is domineering, sounding like an order, yet there’s evident care in his voice.
Sumr’s mouth tightens a little but she obediently takes small sips.
She has just woken up and has little appetite.
She only drinks half a bowl of porridge.
Adrian, not distinguishing between hers and his, drinks from her bowl together with her.
Their interaction is so natural; calling them a loveless couple, really, nothing could be further from the truth.
Ryan stands by quietly, watching Sumr and Adrian for quite a while, lost in thought.
"Jimmy, you have work later, right? I’ll take care of Sumr, you guys do what you need to do, don’t delay your own affairs," says Adrian suddenly, turning his head.
Taking care of his own wife, naturally, is his duty.
"Okay," Ryan responds flatly, then turns to leave, "I’ll go see if Uncle Lee is awake."

Sumr’s injury isn’t particularly severe, much better than the car accident so ti ago.
Upon waking, considering the hospital’s conditions aren’t as good as at ho, Adrian processed her discharge the sa day.
The day Sumr returned to the Walyon Family mansion, Gina and her family arrived.
Entering, knowing about her injury, Gina showed great concern, "Sis, you got hurt? Is it serious? How could such a thing happen?"
Sumr, dizzy from sleeping through the night with a terrible headache now, just wants so peace.
Hearing her voice, the headache worsens.
"How could you be so careless?" Gina circled around her, checked her injuries, verbally blaming her, but internally seething.

"If not, then you might as well leave!" Sumr, without any sisterly affection, issued the eviction order before Gina could even warm up inside.
"I ca out of concern for you, right? We’re sisters! Only us two in the Sutton Family; we have to rely on each other in the future." Gina affectionately holds her hand, pretending sisterly love.
"Concerned if I’m dead?" Sumr speaks bluntly.
Hit by Sumr’s directness, Gina faces several seconds of awkwardness, tugging her lips, "Sis, what are you saying? Although we don’t spend much ti together, don’t misunderstand like this!"
She speaks pitifully, frowning in grievance, looking bullied.
The sight makes Diana, standing nearby, unable to continue watching.
"Gina is concerned about you; don’t be so unappreciative." Unable to resist, she stands up for Gina.
Sumr ignores them both, simply turns to Adrian and quietly says, "My head hurts a bit. I want to go up to my room!"
"Alright, let’s go to your room!" Adrian lifts her up, completely ignoring everyone else in the room, and takes her upstairs.
Today he hasn’t gone to work; after returning ho, he’s taken care of nearly everything for Sumr.
In the afternoon, when Sumr wanted to bask in the sun, Adrian sat with her in the garden’s resting chairs for hours.
