Adrian Walyon handed the card to the waitress, motioning for her to swipe it.
Sumr Sutton didn’t have enough money, and there was no other option, so he had to cover the al for now.

While they were strolling, they passed a jewelry store on the street. Sumr Sutton looked at the watches displayed in the window and found them beautiful, so she went inside.
She picked one that she thought looked nice and was within the limits of her wallet. After the staff took it out, she put it on Adrian Walyon’s wrist.
"Does it look good?" She asked after securing the watch strap for him.
She and Adrian Walyon shared a similar taste; they both didn’t like overly complicated things, preferring simple designs as the best.
The watch she chose was the sa, without any particularly fancy embellishnts, just a basic model that was tilessly appealing.
Adrian Walyon stared at it for a while and softly replied, "Yes."
"Then this one it is!" Sumr Sutton turned to the salesperson with a smile, "Please wrap it up for ."
"Certainly, miss." The staff led her to the counter, took out a jewelry box, and wrapped it beautifully for her.
After paying, Sumr Sutton walked out of the store with Adrian Walyon and handed him the gift bag, "It’s for you! To make up for the missed al."
Adrian Walyon quietly stared at the gift bag in his hand, his gaze warm.
A watch worth more than five thousand was nothing to him, but he knew what it ant to her.
Sumr Sutton was still a student, and her only source of inco was part-ti jobs, which couldn’t pay much.
Five thousand was her entire fortune!
Adrian Walyon put the gift bag away, took her hand in his, and they continued their walk, "Is there anywhere else you’d like to take ?"
Sumr Sutton had always wanted to take him to see the Sutton Family estate.
Though she wasn’t welcod there now, it was still the ho where she grew up.
She hesitated for a mont, then hailed a car, gave the Sutton Family’s address, and took him to the family estate.
The Sutton Family was no longer as prosperous as it once was.
Back then, the household had hundreds of servants, and it was bustling every day.
This ti, the Sutton Family estate was even quieter than the last ti Sumr Sutton visited.
After Betty Chapman and her husband temporarily moved to Northtown to accompany Gina Sutton, they dismissed all the servants, leaving only an old butler and two other elderly servants to take care of the house.
When Sumr Sutton led Adrian Walyon inside, the household staff seed a bit emotional upon seeing her.
The old butler stared at her for a long ti, scrutinizing her before tremblingly uttering three words, "Young Miss..."
The familiar address made Sumr Sutton feel sentintal.
Their way of addressing her hadn’t changed; even though the family had faced adversity and the noble house had fallen, in the eyes of the old servants, she was still the dignified young miss she once was.
Higher in status than Gina Sutton, no matter what, Gina only deserved the title "Second."
The re address was enough for Sumr Sutton to overshadow Gina for a lifeti.
"Young Miss, you’ve returned!" The old butler held her hand, seemingly deeply moved.
"Yes, Grandpa Lee, I’m back!" Sumr Sutton hugged the old man, led him to a seat, and chatted with him.
The butler had watched both Sumr Sutton and her father grow up, making him particularly dear to her.
