"Jimmy, since Adrian is already married, shouldn’t you be planning for it too?" The Old Master said suddenly as they ate.
"Isn’t it still early?" Ryan Walyon didn’t seem interested in this topic.
"Early? You’re in your twenties, if you don’t find a partner soon, Adrian will have children already!" The Old Master scolded him.
"That’s because Adrian got married early." Ryan reminded him.
The Old Master put down his bowl and chopsticks, squinted his eyes and looked at him, and unexpectedly blurted out, "Could it be that you already have soone you like?"
Adrian Walyon, who was dining, raised his eyes, silently staring at Ryan.
Ryan’s face lowered slightly, his expression unclear, but his action of picking up food paused for a mont.
The atmosphere in the dining room suddenly quieted down.
Everyone at the table was staring at Ryan, only Sumr Sutton was quietly eating her al.
After eating several atballs, she was about to pick another one, when she looked up, she inexplicably felt that Ryan seed to glance in her direction.
Sumr’s outstretched hand froze in the air.
After a good while of silence in the dining room, Ryan said expressionlessly, "When the ti cos, I’ll let Grandpa know!"
"It better be so." The Old Master didn’t bring up the topic again, quietly continuing his al.
Sumr hadn’t seen Ryan for several days and couldn’t help but steal a few more glances at him.
Ryan was picking vegetables, his white shirt sleeves rolled up slightly, and when Sumr’s gaze drifted over, she saw a prominent scar on his arm.
A burn wound, larger and more severe than the injury Sumr had previously sustained.
It must have been from when he rescued her before, rushing out of the sea of fire.
Quite so days had passed since that incident, the injury on Sumr’s forehead had almost fully healed, but his scar remained so visible.
Sumr hadn’t closely observed Ryan all this ti, nor was she aware of his injury.
As she stared at the scar on his arm, her feelings beca a bit complex.
In fact, she never understood why Ryan coincidentally appeared at that hotel last ti.
Nor how he dared to rush in with such a big fire to save soone.
But no matter what, she owed him a favor.
Sumr accidentally looked at Ryan a bit too long.
Adrian glanced in her direction, noticing her expression, his handso face darkened.
"Mrs. Walyon!" He suddenly called her.
Sumr quickly snapped back to reality, turned her head and looked at him with confusion.
"Eat your al properly!" Adrian scowled, piling a bunch of food onto her plate.
Afraid of misunderstanding, Sumr kept her eyes from wandering, quietly continuing to eat her al.
Adrian seed a bit moody today, after dinner, Sumr initially wanted to ask him to help explain so schoolwork to her.
However, when she brought her textbook into the study, she received a cold response from him.
Helpless, Sumr could only study the book on her own.
The book she was delving into was related to photography; sitting alone on the sofa, she tinkered with the cara for a long ti but couldn’t figure it out.
Just as Ryan walked by, seeing her frowning, he voluntarily approached.
"What’s wrong? Need my help?"
In Sumr’s eyes, Ryan was always soone proficient in everything, so his timing was perfect.
"There are many things in the book I couldn’t understand." Handing him the book, Sumr pointed out her confusion.
