The Walyon Family is full of low-key people, and today’s engagent banquet only invites relatives and friends. Although there aren’t many people, there are at least dozens.
When Gina Sutton arrived, the outside of the Walyon Family’s gate was already packed with parked cars.
The butler stood at the door, seemingly waiting just for her.
It was Betty Chapman’s first visit to the Walyon Family, and seeing the butler standing respectfully outside the window made her feel it was quite grand.
The obsession with Gina marrying into the Walyon Family grew even stronger.
As long as Adrian Walyon nodded, in the future, her daughter would beco the mistress here!
At this mont, she was as proud as she could be.
Gina Sutton got off the car first, lifted her skirt, and slowly walked towards the main entrance, following the butler into the garden leading to the banquet hall, observing her surroundings as she walked.
She had never t Adrian Walyon, but she had heard of him.
The Walyon Family is vast in business, and he himself is very young, still the only heir of the Walyon Family, and eventually the entire Walyon Family will be his.
What woman wouldn’t want to marry such a man?
She truly felt grateful to her deceased grandpa; however, Gina Sutton was thankful not for the engagent arranged with the Walyon Family but because when Grandpa made the engagent, he only agreed that his granddaughter would marry into the Walyon Family, without specifying which one.
Old Master Sutton had only two granddaughters in total. Sumr Sutton grew up without a mother by her side, and her father passed away early. Perhaps because of this reason, the Old Master loved her much more than he did Gina Sutton.
When Sumr Sutton was very young, Grandpa Sutton always took his granddaughter with him wherever he went.
Gina Sutton actually felt fortunate that the Old Master passed early. If Grandpa were still alive, the one marrying into the Walyon Family would surely be Sumr Sutton!
"Miss Sutton, I’ll first take you to et Madam and the Old Master." The butler led Gina Sutton inside and directly took her to Diana Wood’s side.
...
Sumr Sutton left the workroom, and it was already half past six.
Adrian Walyon was responsible for driving, and Sumr Sutton sat beside him, quietly watching the road outside the window.
Why did she feel a bit uneasy today?
Sumr Sutton inexplicably felt like she was about to fall into a trap.
Adrian Walyon drove fast, and the evening wind blew past her ears, slightly disturbing Sumr Sutton’s hair.
The place they parked at was a Chinese-style mansion.
Adrian Walyon got out of the car first, and everyone here seed to treat him with great respect.
Sumr Sutton clearly heard the people welcoming him at the door call him "Young Master."
Sumr Sutton was stunned for half a second, her body tense.
Was this his ho?
"Get out of the car!" Adrian Walyon turned his head to look at her.
"Why did you bring here?" Sumr Sutton’s unease rose once more.
"To show you a play." Adrian Walyon didn’t give her any ti to hesitate; he opened the car door and directly took her out from the car.
There were so many people standing outside.
Sumr Sutton was embarrassed, hurriedly scrambled down from him, straightened herself, "I can walk on my own!"
"Then keep up." Adrian Walyon walked ahead, leading her into the mansion first.
Sumr Sutton followed behind him, secretly speculating about his purpose as she walked.
The people at the Walyon Family tonight seed unusually many. Sumr Sutton already heard the chatter and laughter from the guests in the banquet hall while she was still in the garden.
Just as Adrian Walyon’s figure appeared in the garden, the servants had already inford Diana Wood of his return.
At this mont, the banquet had started just a few minutes ago.
