He clearly found the restaurant in advance; Sumr Sutton has been in Northtown for over two years without knowing such a place existed. Without effort searching, it’s impossible to know.
The restaurant was without any other guests, seemingly reserved exclusively.
The entire restaurant was adorned with roses, from the carpet to the dining table.
Adrian Walyon led Sumr Sutton inside, found a table to sit down at, and casually started ordering food.
"What would you like to eat?" he asked, flipping through the nu as he spoke.
"Anything is fine." At this point, Sumr Sutton was so hungry her stomach was playing a solo, not picky at all.
Adrian glanced at her casually, his gaze sowhat deep.
After staring at her for a while, he slowly uttered, "What? Without at ho, you find it hard to eat?"
Sumr Sutton was a bit choked by his words but didn’t refute.
If he wants to think that, let him.
Her silence seed to uplift Adrian’s mood.
He even seriously promised, "I’ll try to co back earlier from now on!"
Sumr Sutton was stunned, looking at him with so surprise.
Adrian didn’t explain anything, lowered his eyes, and continued ordering food.
He ordered the restaurant’s specialty dishes for Sumr Sutton, like Neapolitan baked lobster, grilled fish, and Florence steak.
The freshly cooked steak was sizzling, the oil still finely cooking, filling the air with aroma.
Sumr Sutton didn’t care much; as soon as the dishes were served, she started eating.
Adrian sat across from her, eating slowly.
While eating, he occasionally lifted his head to glance at her.
As he watched, he suddenly ca out with a statent, "By the way, it’s a holiday today."
Sumr Sutton didn’t understand his aning and slowly raised her face.
"Not going back tonight!" Adrian casually tossed out the words, cutting a large piece of beef from his plate and handing it to her.
Sumr Sutton suddenly felt like a sheep in a pen.
After being fed, it’s ti to be slaughtered.
Adrian kept eating his own al, still slowly.
Sumr Sutton suddenly regretted looking forward to spending the holiday with him.
What could she expect from him?
A man like Adrian, every holiday is a simple, straightforward night together in a room?
Sumr Sutton felt she had dug a pit for herself today.
The dinner took them over an hour to finish.
Upon leaving, because it was a holiday, the street was still lively.
Every now and then, there were little girls carrying flower buckets and selling roses passing by.
"Sir, would you like to buy flowers? This pretty sister is only deserving of roses." A seven or eight-year-old child stopped by them, lifted her face, smiling sweetly at Adrian.
Along the way, they t many children.
Probably thinking Adrian’s money was easy to earn, every ti they saw him, they stopped.
Adrian didn’t even look at the flower buckets; if asked by a child, he bought all the flowers and casually handed them to Sumr Sutton behind him.
Until Sumr Sutton’s arms were filled with more flowers than she could hold.
Walking down the street holding a massive bunch of flowers, her view was blocked by them, making it hard to walk.
Sumr Sutton was particularly speechless towards Adrian; not only did the children think his money was easy to earn tonight, but she thought so too.
Without needing to persuade, just ask him, regardless of the number of flowers in the bucket, he would buy them all.
