The official shoot began after Sumr Sutton appeared on set.
Before the shoot, the director briefly told her how she should interpret the character; the rest was up to Sumr Sutton’s own understanding.
Sumr Sutton seed to have a natural talent for acting. Once on set, she didn’t look inexperienced at all, executing her steps, expressions, and lines perfectly.
The actor she was performing alongside was a popular male actor, Charles Smith.
When Sumr Sutton agreed to be a temporary actress, she had reviewed the script.
In the script, it was clearly stated what she needed to do after her appearance, which was just to show her face without any physical contact with the male lead.
However, as the scene progressed, Charles Smith did not follow the script.
When Sumr Sutton approached him, he suddenly seized her hand.
His fingertip gently caressed the back of her hand, and he lowered his face as if intending to kiss her.
He was forcing a kiss scene!
He hadn’t even consulted the director, improvising and adding a scene for himself on the spot.
Indeed, adding scenes isn’t uncommon in the crew.
But generally, there would be a heads-up to the director and a notice to the actress.
As Sumr Sutton looked at his face drawing closer, her face turned pale instantly.
Before she could step away, a cold voice abruptly echoed across the set, "What is going on here?"
The voice was chilling to the bone, making one shiver just by hearing it.
The man who appeared had a face more striking than a star’s, standing outside the crowd, so conspicuous it was impossible to ignore him.
Sumr Sutton’s gaze stiffly turned to the side; seeing his face made her spine tingle all over.
Shivering from the cold, she swiftly pushed Charles Smith away and walked briskly over, affectionately calling out in front of everyone, "Husband, you’re just in ti!"
Husband?
The rest of the crew looked at the two of them in disbelief.
Adrian Walyon’s gaze swept up and down her figure, noting her thickly caked-on foundation and her ancient attire, his expression darkened.
Afraid that he might misunderstand, Sumr Sutton frantically explained, "Just a temporary actress, temporary, only one or two shots! The script said there’d be no physical contact at all!"
Adrian Walyon’s sharp lips pressed tightly together, staring at her for a long mont before his piercing gaze shifted to Charles Smith.
"So what? Any film crew can now add scenes at their will? Adding intimate scenes with a married woman?" He walked over slowly, his gaze ominous.
Charles Smith didn’t actually recognize him, but the director did.
The director trembled, terrified of getting caught in the crossfire, hurriedly explained, "Misunderstanding! Misunderstanding! Young Master Walyon, that was really not my intention! We didn’t expect this situation!"
His attitude toward Adrian Walyon was so respectful that he almost groveled to compensate.
Even if Charles Smith didn’t recognize Adrian Walyon, seeing the director’s deanor, he could guess that this man was soone he couldn’t afford to offend.
Realizing he had caused a major blunder, Charles Smith felt as if the world was spinning.
"So, you acted on your own lust and forced yourself on the actress without her consent?" Adrian Walyon’s gaze slowly turned to him, his eyes even colder and more sinister.
"..." Charles Smith was speechless.
Adrian Walyon glanced askance behind him, and several n in black stepped in from the crowd, respectfully addressing him, "Young Master!"
