It was already so late, and Sumr Sutton wasn’t in the mood to continue eating a midnight snack.
She dumped the dumplings halfway through cooking and went back to her room.
When she entered, Adrian Walyon had already freshened up and was sitting on the bed, seemingly waiting for her.
Sumr Sutton walked in with her head down, preoccupied with her own thoughts, seemingly forgetting that Adrian Walyon was even in the room. She went about washing her face, brushing her teeth, and taking a shower.
Then she ca to the bed, pulled back the covers, and crawled in.
She didn’t say a word from beginning to end, completely ignoring Adrian Walyon.
Adrian Walyon’s face darkened.
The coldness on his face was almost icy, yet Sumr Sutton did not notice.
After getting into bed, she turned her back to him, furrowing her brow while still thinking about her own matters.
Adrian Walyon was thoroughly ignored by her from beginning to end.
Was Adrian Walyon soone who could stand being ignored?
After staring at her back for a long ti, he suddenly pulled her into his arms. Without a word, Adrian Walyon pressed his large body against her and started to take off her clothes.
His actions were direct and forceful.
Since Sumr Sutton couldn’t see his presence, he found ways to make her notice. After taking off her clothes, he intended to take further action.
"Adrian Walyon, don’t!" Sumr Sutton couldn’t stand him and pushed him, but couldn’t move him. So, she swung her arm and hit him twice.
Her force was weak, like a scratch, not painful at all.
Adrian Walyon didn’t mind and withdrew his body from hers.
"What were you thinking just now?" he asked, lying beside her.
Sumr Sutton looked at him, then seriously recounted everything that had happened, "I just saw Gina Sutton downstairs."
"..." Adrian Walyon listened quietly to her story and frowned slightly.

The next day, it was the weekend.
Sumr Sutton went downstairs quite early.
When she arrived in the living room, she unexpectedly found that Gina Sutton was already up.
It was just past six.
She was a pregnant woman, and she went to bed quite late last night. Why was she up so early in the morning?
Sumr Sutton couldn’t help but stare at her for a couple of tis.
Gina Sutton looked very bad today. It seed like she hadn’t slept a wink all night, with heavy bags under her eyes and her face etched with fatigue.
Suddenly, Sumr Sutton thought of what happened last night.
What was that phone call about that could cause her such a sleepless night?
Gina Sutton noticed her looking and frowned slightly.
"Did you do sothing guilty last night?" Sumr Sutton asked casually as she walked past her.
Gina Sutton seed a bit nervous, her eyes flickering as she scolded, "What nonsense are you saying?"
"If not, why are you guilty?" Sumr Sutton sneered, entering the kitchen.
"Why would I be guilty?" Gina Sutton steadied her expression, standing firm.
Sumr Sutton couldn’t be bothered to argue with her, bent down, and started rummaging through the fridge for fruit.
Ryan Walyon also got up early today. As soon as Sumr Sutton appeared, he was also in the kitchen.
"Ryan, you’re awake!" Gina Sutton was recently particularly attentive to him, knowing that Ryan Walyon was indifferent to her, yet she continued to greet him with a smile every day.
Gina Sutton had no choice; to smoothly enter the Walyon Family, she must maintain a harmonious relationship with Ryan Walyon.
Ryan Walyon ignored her and continued searching for food in the kitchen.
Sumr Sutton was peeling fruit, removing the skin of an apple, cutting it into small pieces, and throwing them into a juicer.
While Ryan Walyon was rummaging in the fridge, Sumr Sutton suddenly gasped, "Ouch, that hurts!"
When Ryan Walyon turned around, he saw that her forefinger was already bleeding profusely.
