The commanding tone made everyone in the room lift their heads simultaneously, all eyes turning towards the door.
Adrian Walyon strode steadily into the room, casting a cool glance in Sumr’s direction, pulling her to his side.
Raising his gaze to the few policen in the room, he asked unemotionally, "What did my wife do wrong that warranted such a grand scene from you?"
"This, this..." The police officer was in a real bind.
Glancing at Gina Sutton on the bed, he awkwardly explained, "Mr. Walyon, your wife was involved in an attempted murder case last night, and we need her to cooperate with our investigation."
"Do you have evidence? Have you conducted an investigation yourself?" Adrian eyed him skeptically.
"There are already witnesses, last night so many people in the Walyon family saw it, sir." The officer said.
Adrian ignored him and instead turned to Sumr beside him, "Sumr, tell exactly what happened?"
As soon as Sumr saw him, her nose suddenly turned sour.
No matter how composed and emotionless she was when facing so many people alone just now.
Encountering Adrian, she suddenly seed to beco delicate, her armor vanished.
In this world, he was the only one who, no matter what happened, was always willing to stand by her side, believe in her, and protect her.

After pondering her words briefly, Adrian patted her head, soothing her, "Can we still do a paternity test now?"
