Sumr Sutton had no choice but to go along with him.
In the car, she couldn’t help but secretly glance at him.
Adrian Walyon, just from yesterday’s betrothal gift alone, you can tell his family background.
With such a big family background, she knew he must be very busy.
But, despite being busy, every ti she went to school and went ho, he’d always find ti to personally pick her up and drop her off.
Sotis, when she thought about it, Adrian Walyon seed like a really decent guy.
They arrived at the classroom at eight o’clock sharp.
The professor hadn’t arrived yet, and just as Sumr Sutton sat down, Zoe Baxter started gossiping with her.
"Sumr, did you hear? Last night, a golden bachelor who all the unmarried won in Northtown were eager to marry got engaged. My high school friend’s mother even attended the engagent party last night."
"Really? Who rated him as the guy all unmarried won were eager to marry?" Sumr Sutton’s focus was not on the sa thing as hers.
"Why bother with that?" Zoe Baxter glared at her, leaning closer to continue the gossip, "I also heard that the female lead of the engagent party last night is really young, goes to our school, and is also at the Film Academy! Who do you think would be so lucky to marry a man like that?"
"What’s so great about marrying a man like this? With so many won fancying him, wouldn’t you be afraid he’d fool around after marriage?" Sumr Sutton disagreed with her.
Zoe Baxter shook a finger, "No, no! You just don’t get it! The n from the Walyon Family are not ordinary n; it’s said that he keeps his distance from won. Since taking over Walyon Clan Group, he hasn’t been involved in any romantic scandals."
"A man who keeps his distance from won doesn’t necessarily an he’s a good man; maybe he’s just not functioning well in certain areas?" Sumr Sutton was preparing her book for class, not paying much attention to her words.
The mont the car arrived at Walyon Clan Group, Adrian Walyon inexplicably sneezed...
Zoe Baxter found chatting with Sumr Sutton particularly boring; whatever she said was always t with Sumr Sutton’s eccentric rebuttal.
"Sumr, you, being a woman uninterested in n, better be careful you don’t end up an old maid!" Zoe Baxter sat back down, waiting quietly for the professor with a sense of defeated curiosity.
...
Sumr Sutton spent the entire day at school, finishing her classes around four o’clock when Adrian Walyon called.
"I’m waiting for you outside the campus." He dropped the line without even waiting for her response before hanging up.
Sumr Sutton had grown accustod to the way he spoke, not paying much heed, and headed outside with her books.
Right outside the school gate, she ran into Gina Sutton.
Gina Sutton, having made a fool of herself yesterday, was full of anger upon seeing her.
Standing in her path, Gina Sutton blocked her way.
"How did you get acquainted with Adrian Walyon?" she asked coldly.
"None of your business." Sumr Sutton tried to walk past her, but was grabbed by the wrist.
"Did you use tricks to hook up with him?" Gina Sutton’s nails dug into her flesh as she clutched her hand.
Sumr Sutton found her words utterly ridiculous and, pulling her hand away, sarcastically retorted, "Second Young Miss Sutton thinks everyone is as skilled in these tactics as you are?"
Adrian Walyon was waiting outside for her, she just wanted to get out quickly.
Unexpectedly, Gina Sutton was relentless, "Who are you calling skilled in these tactics? Sumr Sutton, who are you insulting? You better make yourself clear!"
