Sumr Sutton even wondered if Diana Wood knew even a little about Adrian Walyon since he was a child?
Is Adrian Walyon a materialistic person?
When he lived on the mountain, despite the harsh environnt, did he ever complain?
"Madam, Adrian is doing quite well here, your worries are unnecessary." Sumr Sutton looked straight at her, unaffected by her words.
Diana’s face was stiff, her forehead twitching nervously.
She held her head, stared at Sumr Sutton for a long ti, suppressed her anger, and asked painfully, "Adrian broke with the family for you! He has sacrificed so much for you, don’t you feel even the slightest guilt? What have you done for him?"
Sumr Sutton did not refute her words.
So far, Sumr Sutton indeed hadn’t done much for Adrian.
Diana was already here, she spoke bluntly, "Grandfather has fallen ill from anger over Adrian leaving ho. The current state of the Walyon Family is sothing I don’t want to see. It’s impossible for you and him now! Just say it directly, what will it take for you to leave Adrian, na your terms!"
She said a lot in one breath, Sumr Sutton smiled coldly after her words.
Ha, is this her purpose for coming today?
Diana continued her self-centered monologue, "I just want the Walyon Family to return to how it was before. As long as Adrian returns, that’s all I ask now."
"Don’t think he loves you much, you’ve only been married to Adrian for a few months, all his kindness to you is normal, few newlywed n treat their wives badly. But marriage is not sothing that can be sustained by a temporary novelty."
"Without the vast background of the Walyon Family, facing obstacles and suffering setbacks outside, when both your bodies and minds are exhausted, I’d like to see what you’ll have to talk about love then!"
She belittled Adrian’s feelings for Sumr Sutton.
As if Adrian’s sacrifices were all due to a temporary novelty.
It’s sothing Sumr Sutton had doubted before.
But after experiencing many things, her perspective changed.
Diana thought that with all she had said, Sumr Sutton should have gained so self-awareness.
Unexpectedly, Sumr Sutton’s face remained calm throughout, she rely stated coldly, "Madam Walyon doesn’t seem to understand her own son well. The estrangent between you and Adrian appears to have its reasons. Whether Adrian wants to return or not is his matter, I have no right to interfere. Whether his love for is genuine or just a novelty is between us, Madam Walyon, you are not him and cannot impose your thoughts on him."
She paused, glanced sideways at Diana, and suddenly changed her tone, "By the way, didn’t Madam Walyon just ask what I’ve done for Adrian?"
Diana was startled, unclear of the aning behind her words.
Sumr Sutton spoke each word firmly, "Madam Walyon, you said it yourself, Adrian has sacrificed so much for , and what I can do for him is, after he has sacrificed so much, not to leave him easily! Sorry, I do not accept any of your conditions!"
Her tone was slow, yet it was very firm.
Diana said so much, only to propose conditions for her to leave.
Sumr Sutton’s attitude in this matter was exceptionally resolute.
The reason left Diana with nothing to counter.
Diana was dumbfounded by her words, seemingly unable to believe the woman in front of her could be so strong.
