After Adrian Walyon pulled Sumr Sutton into the car, he drove her all the way to the seaside.
Upon reaching the deserted dock, they found a yacht with the "Adrian" sign on it parked by the shore. Adrian led Sumr onto it, sat down in the captain’s seat, and took her to a small island in the sea.
The sea at night has a charm completely different from the day.
Looking out, the distant island looked like stars falling on the sea, sparkling with light.
Sumr Sutton stood on the deck, enjoying the cool sumr breeze and stretching out her arms comfortably. "Adrian, the sea is so beautiful!"
"How about we just keep sailing like this?" Adrian replied, a light smile playing on his lips.
No direction, no purpose, just sailing wherever their hearts desired.
"But I’d rather go to that island!" Sumr pointed to an island not far ahead.
"Vacation?" Adrian teased with a slight curl of his lips.
A vacation it would be!
Sumr Sutton and Adrian Walyon had been married for more than half a year and hadn’t taken a special vacation anywhere.
She didn’t refuse his suggestion.
Adrian, in good spirits, docked the yacht once they reached the island’s shore.
This was a beautiful small island, with distinctive European-style buildings visible everywhere. At night, every household was brightly lit, and the entire island sat like a sea of lights, as beautiful as a place out of this world.
It was already late at night; the two of them suddenly ca to the island without booking a hotel in advance.
After disembarking, Adrian took Sumr for a walk with the intention of finding a hotel, but they discovered all the rooms were fully booked.
Sumr, being quick-witted, found a bed-and-breakfast via an app and checked in with Adrian.
It was a small private villa converted into a B&B, with a tiny courtyard and only a few rooms; the building seed a bit aged.
However, it was very clean and tranquil, so quiet that you could hear goldfish splashing in the lily pond from the room.
Even if Adrian didn’t quite like the environnt Sumr chose, he had no complaints and just went along.
The B&B owner was an elderly lady nearing seventy. After checking in, Sumr tugged Adrian into the room.
Adrian followed behind leisurely, planning the evening as he walked.
His mind was filled with plans, but once inside the room, his expression froze slightly.
The room was pitifully small, barely enough to fit a bed, and there wasn’t even a carpet.
Adrian felt that such a space greatly hindered what he had in mind.
What’s more, to his surprise, Sumr went for a shower after entering, and midway through, the whole villa suddenly lost power.
Sumr was still covered in shower gel bubbles, unable to rinse off, and without lights, she could only rely on touch to find her robe.
Sumr fumbled around several tis but couldn’t reach it. The floor, wet from shower gel, was incredibly slippery, and she nearly fell several tis.
Sumr gave up on groping around and instinctively called out Adrian’s na, "Adrian..."
She hadn’t thought much about it at the mont, maybe she slowly grew reliant on him.
Adrian, outside, seed caught off guard by her calling in such a situation, paused for a few seconds, and pushed open the bathroom door to enter.
"What’s wrong?"
"The bathrobe... I can’t reach it..." Sumr began to feel awkward belatedly.
