"Just teasing you!" Adrian Walyon playfully pinched her collagen-filled cheek with his slender, beautiful fingertips, then released her and nonchalantly fastened his seatbelt.
Sumr Sutton’s face stiffened, and she turned her head to glare at him.
"Disappointed?" Adrian pretended to unbuckle his seatbelt, "How about we stay here for a few hours before heading back?"
Sumr got scared of him, pounced into his arms, and quickly helped him fasten his seatbelt again, "No need, what’s so great about here? So many people, it’s so noisy! Let’s go back! Let’s go back!"
"So you prefer quieter places!" Adrian sighed knowingly and slowly started the car.
The expression on Sumr’s face froze, once again choked by his words.
What did he an by that?
Adrian seed in a good mood, even whistling roguishly as he drove.
While driving, he asked, "Is there any place you want to go or anything you want to do?"
Sumr, without much thought, blurted out, "I want to see snow!"
She simply said what ca to mind, forgetting what season it was.
At the ti, it was just the beginning of August, peak sumr, the hottest ti.
Northtown’s recent temperatures were over thirty degrees every day, not to ntion snow, it hadn’t even rained a drop.
"Wait here!" Adrian thought for a mont, then turned the car around and headed towards Morning Garden, which was relatively close to their location.
After arriving ho, Sumr didn’t pay much attention to what he said earlier and went into the kitchen to prepare dinner for both of them.
Adrian seed to have driven off for a while and, upon returning, busied himself in the garden.
What he was doing, Sumr didn’t know.
Sumr didn’t care and continued to busy herself with her own tasks.
With extra ti today, she suddenly thought of the dessert from the restaurant they went to yesterday while preparing dinner.
Sumr is soone exceptionally smart, with good grades in school, a talent for acting, and the ability to understand cooking just by looking at the recipe.
After preparing dinner, she made a dessert following a recipe she found online.
The cake was identical to the one from yesterday’s restaurant, nad "In the Na of Love" Sakura Mousse.
When everything was ready, it was already past eight o’clock.
Walking out of the kitchen to find Adrian, she was stunned by the scene in the garden.
Night had fallen over Morning Garden, with stars twinkling.
The garden, paths, cobblestone trails, treetops, and grass were all covered in silver-white snowflakes under colorful lights.
During the day, the villa was full of life; in just the few hours she prepared dinner, it transford into a silver-white world.
The whole Morning Garden was decorated like a crystal palace in the snow.
Artificial snow!
Sumr quietly watched the snowy scene in the garden, lost in thought for a while.
Snow in the middle of sumr, he conjured it for her...
Adrian stood not far away, gazing in her direction, the corner of his lips curling up unconsciously.
"Do you like it?" he asked slowly.
Sumr turned her head to glance at him, lightly nodded, "Yes."
"When winter arrives this year, you’ll see real snow at Morning Garden." Adrian said after watching her for a while.
Every winter in Northtown, there are plenty of snowfalls.
Because of this, Sumr had a special fondness for the city after coming here for university.
Adrian imagined the scene of Morning Garden covered in snow during winter and suddenly felt a bit of anticipation.
