Luke Wood laughed a little at the woman’s words, "Adrian is such an outstanding person, does he need soone to introduce him? Isn’t it always just by standing there, he naturally attracts a bunch of attention?"
"You’re right, brother." The young woman gave a sweet smile, her eyes drifting again towards Adrian Walyon’s direction.
Her gaze towards him was very straightforward, without any sign of shyness.
Luke imdiately understood her thoughts and began introducing them seriously, "Adrian, this is my sister. She’s twenty-one this year, not much younger than you."
"Grace, this is my elentary school friend, Adrian Walyon. You’re aware of the Walyon Family."
After a simple introduction, Grace Wood joined their conversation and didn’t leave again.
She was very attentive to Adrian, chatting along until she managed to push Luke aside and sat next to Adrian.
Adrian was indifferent to any woman besides Sumr Sutton. As soon as Grace sat down, he directly stood up.
"I’m just going to walk around," he said while holding a drink, planning to leave. Grace quickly followed, "Do you want a tour? I’ll take you!"
"No need!" Adrian replied without changing his expression, turning his gaze towards Sumr Sutton’s direction, gesturing for her to co over with his eyes.
Sumr Sutton actually saw it, but she ignored him.
Pretending not to see, she picked up a glass of juice, drinking it casually.
Adrian’s face turned dark, and he called to her coldly, "Miss Sutton! Co over!"
Though there were many people around, because the distance wasn’t far, Sumr Sutton could hear him clearly.
However, she still pretended not to hear, continuing to drink her juice.
Adrian didn’t understand what she was up to today, irritably tugged at his tie, wanting to go directly over to catch her, but Grace pulled him back, "She’s unfamiliar with this place, I’ll accompany you instead!"
Adrian ignored her, shook off her arm, intending to go pull Sumr Sutton, but seeing her clearly with an expression that said she didn’t want to go anywhere, he halted his steps and suppressed the impulse.
Forget it, he wouldn’t argue with her.
Adrian interpreted Sumr Sutton’s lack of cooperation as indicating that both were just tired these past few days; she wanted to sit and rest.
Ignoring Grace, Adrian strode out of the banquet hall on his own.
Grace saw this and quickly followed.
The Wood Family didn’t have many rules, and due to her upbringing, Grace had always been straightforward about doing and saying whatever she wanted.
In the garden, seeing Adrian standing under a maple tree, she walked over and naturally took hold of his arm.
Adrian’s body stiffened for a mont, lowered his gaze to look at her hand.
He signaled for Grace to release her hold, but Grace did not care.
Her hand linked through his arm, she even leaned her body a little closer to Adrian, "Young Master Walyon, you’ve known my brother for so long, why have you never been to our house before?"
Adrian’s face grew even more rigid, with a stern expression, he pulled his arm out of her hand, not the least bit gentle, and gave her a shove.
His force was sowhat strong, even quite rough.
Grace was pushed back, her feet in high heels unsteady, nearly falling to the ground.
She felt a bit embarrassed, staring at Adrian blankly, her mind even went blank for a few seconds, as if unbelieving that a man would so openly push her away.
