Tonight he’s been lost in thought, with Ariella’s words echoing in his mind from ti to ti.
After leaving, is she still really tired?
...
Sumr Sutton actually ca back just a few minutes after she left.
She left the apartnt keys on her seat!
She stood outside the restaurant for a long ti, pacing back and forth, too afraid to go inside.
The manager ca out with a drunken Ariella Sawyer, and as soon as she saw her, she was taken aback, "Yo, what’s going on? You’re already back, why aren’t you going inside?"
"Sister Chapman, could you go in on my behalf?" Sumr Sutton grabbed her hand anxiously, pleading.
Julia Chapman is the manager, and she was just an assistant.
When Sumr asked her, Julia was montarily stunned, and her face froze instantly.
Is she ordering around?
Sumr Sutton realized her words might be inappropriate, and quickly sweet-talked, "Sis, I left my keys inside, and without them, I can’t get into my house. I know you’re the best, please help out! Please help out!"
Julia was speechless toward her, already aware of why she didn’t want to go inside.
Giving her a peculiar look, Julia wasn’t buying her story, "What’s there to be afraid of? Go in yourself! Young Master Walyon is in there; who’s going to harm you?"
Sumr Sutton felt bitter.
It’s precisely because Adrian Walyon is inside that she’s afraid to go in, isn’t it?
Other n wouldn’t care much; but if Adrian saw her and got mad, he might actually chew her out.
"Sis, you’re like our big sister; I really can’t go in. Please help , just this once, just this once!" Sumr pleaded pitifully, holding onto Julia’s hand.
Julia didn’t want to get involved in her matters with Adrian Walyon. If she went in and Adrian found out she was there because of Sumr, Ariella’s collaborations might be jeopardized.
"No way, even if you call grandma, it won’t work." Julia had no intention of helping, supporting Ariella as she headed for the car.
Sumr paced outside, looking in from the restaurant, and as Julia’s car door opened, she darted in faster than Julia and shut the door.
Julia propped an arm on the car door, frowning at her inside the car.
"It’s alright, it’s alright. Little Ariella is quite heavy and hasn’t lost weight for a long ti; I noticed it was difficult for you to support her, so I’ll help you take her ho." Sumr tossed her a line, buckling the seatbelt, and sat obediently in the car.
"How will you ever amount to anything like this? It’s just Adrian Walyon!" Julia gave her a disappointed look, opened the door, and got into the car.
"Sis, you wouldn’t understand." Sumr smiled at her words without explaining further.
Julia indeed didn’t understand young people today. They obviously didn’t seem to lack feelings, yet they avoided each other, what does that imply?
She didn’t ask more, placed Ariella in the back seat, and slowly started the car.
Sumr went with her to take Ariella back and spent the night at Ariella’s apartnt.
Ariella slept like a log all night, and when she saw her in the room, she was montarily stunned.
"Morning." Sumr Sutton greeted her, handing her a glass of milk.
Ariella didn’t know what had happened last night, got out of bed excitedly to gossip, "By the way, I think I saw Adrian Walyon yesterday night. Still as handso as ever; haven’t heard from him in a whole year. Aren’t you excited, thrilled, don’t you want to see him?"
