Sumr Sutton sat in the car, feeling like she was sitting on pins, extrely uncomfortable.
But since she’d already gotten into the car, she couldn’t offend the sponsor by getting off halfway, right?
She could only hope the restaurant would arrive soon.
The car was cruising on the road and when they were nearing the seaside, the driver suddenly made a turn.
Sumr Sutton wasn’t seated steadily and fell right into the arms of Adrian Walyon beside her.
The sudden situation left everyone in the car montarily stunned.
The people in the car didn’t know the relationship between Adrian Walyon and Sumr Sutton, each one of them stared blankly at this scene, carefully observing Adrian Walyon’s reaction.
Adrian Walyon was known for his dislike of won throwing themselves at him; this was sothing all the company staff were aware of.
After the establishnt of Morningview, many clients attempted to send their daughters or nieces to his side in order to forge connections. However, all these attempts ended up with Morningview Group terminating the collaboration.
In the eyes of Morningview employees, Adrian Walyon was regarded as soone particularly principled.
Sumr Sutton’s sudden move made the group worried that Adrian might think she was deliberately throwing herself at him and directly throw her out of the car window.
Several employees were sowhat nervous for Sumr Sutton.
However, to everyone’s surprise, even though Sumr Sutton was entirely sprawled in Adrian Walyon’s embrace, Adrian didn’t show even a hint of anger.
Not only was he not angry, but rather, his face seed to indicate a sense of pleasure.
Staring dazedly at him like this, the group collectively was dumbfounded.
It was well-known that Adrian Walyon had always been soone with a cleanliness obsession.
Despite Sumr Sutton bumping into him, leaving behind the scent of a strange woman, he didn’t express any disregard, nor did he bother with the wrinkles she had caused to his clothes.
The driver was soone particularly perceptive.
He had initially taken a detour to avoid being spotted for overloading, but now, seeing that Adrian seed to enjoy the feeling of being with Sumr Sutton, even though they were almost at the restaurant, he took another loop.
Hence, the originally long journey got extended by loop after loop by the driver.
Sumr Sutton just kept on sitting in the car, passively squeezed together with Adrian Walyon hour after hour.
By the ti they reached the restaurant, it was already eight o’clock.
Sumr Sutton’s face turned sullen.
Adrian Walyon, on the other hand, looked quite pleased. As they entered the restaurant, he even seed to whistle softly.
Everyone thought they had heard wrong, yet turning aside to see his face, it indeed wasn’t as cold and icy as before.
Even if the group didn’t know much about whatever had happened between Sumr Sutton and Adrian Walyon in the past, at this mont, they understood a bit.
After entering the restaurant, everyone chose a table.
A large round table where more than a dozen people could sit.
Sumr Sutton’s identity was quite deliberately arranged to be alongside Adrian Walyon again.
Once seated, Sumr Sutton acted as though he didn’t exist, keeping her head down and focusing on her own al.
"After working all day, Miss Sawyer and Miss Sutton both worked hard!" The photographer stood up, holding a wineglass to toast Sumr Sutton and Ariella Sawyer.
"Not at all! Being able to shoot an ad for Morningview Group is my honor!" Ariella Sawyer stood up modestly, holding her glass to reciprocate the photographer’s toast.
The photographer was simultaneously toasting Sumr Sutton as well.
For Sumr Sutton, an actor’s assistant, being toasted by the photographer was an honor.
Sumr Sutton couldn’t act more diva-like than the actor and refuse the gesture.
Though she couldn’t drink, she still stood up, raised her glass, "Sir, you’re too polite! What I did today was rely my duty."
