Diana Wood glanced at the na on her phone and withdrew her already extended leg stiffly.
Sumr Sutton ignored her, pressed the answer button, and turned her head to pick up the call, "What’s up?"
"Where are you? I don’t have the key to get in." Adrian Walyon stood outside her apartnt door, waited for a while, and couldn’t bear the wait, seeming sowhat irritated.
He clearly considered Sumr Sutton’s place as ho, going there directly after work without returning to Morning Garden.
The restaurant was sowhat noisy, so Sumr Sutton’s call volu was relatively high.
Diana Wood stood beside her and just caught Adrian Walyon’s words clearly.
Since Adrian Walyon left with Sumr Sutton from the Walyon Family, it had been over a year.
During these over three hundred days, he hadn’t returned ho once or called to inquire about his family.
As a mother, Diana Wood was really angry that her biological son hadn’t contacted or asked about her for such a long period.
Once she heard Adrian Walyon was at Sumr Sutton’s place, her face darkened instantly.
"Are you two still together?" She asked coldly.
Sumr Sutton didn’t answer, but Adrian Walyon’s expression stiffened upon hearing her voice on the other end of the line.
"Wait for !" He tossed two words to Sumr Sutton before hanging up and hurriedly heading out of the apartnt building.
Without asking for Sumr Sutton’s address, he directly had soone investigate and then rushed over by car.
On the way, many thoughts ran through Adrian Walyon’s mind.
He was worried that Diana Wood might say sothing to Sumr Sutton to make her leave.
A year ago, Sumr Sutton was fine but suddenly changed overnight, leading Adrian Walyon to suspect if soone from the Walyon Family had approached her and said sothing.
Otherwise, even with the new company facing obstacles at the ti, Adrian Walyon felt she should still stay by his side and face the tough tis together.
Adrian Walyon drove fast, so fast that his black sports car practically flew down the road.
He overtook several cars and even ran a few red lights in fear that he might arrive late and Sumr Sutton would leave once again.
He and she had already been apart for a year.
A year was the longest period Adrian Walyon could endure.
He could not withstand another separation!
In the restaurant, Diana Wood and Sumr Sutton were staring at each other.
Diana Wood had clearly misunderstood Adrian Walyon’s recent call.
She thought Sumr Sutton and Adrian Walyon had recently reconciled and were already living together.
Although earlier, the issue of Gina Sutton’s miscarriage had been proven unrelated to Sumr Sutton.
However, Diana Wood’s dissatisfaction with Sumr Sutton had always been constant and was not because of Gina Sutton’s incident.
Added to Adrian Walyon’s fallout with the Walyon Family over Sumr Sutton, and the fact he still hadn’t returned ho once, Diana Wood’s rejection of Sumr Sutton was more intense than before.
Sumr Sutton remained silent for a while after her words, did not deny but only calmly said, "This is a matter between him and , nothing to do with others."
Her attitude seed to clearly disregard Diana Wood.
Hearing her words, Diana Wood instantly flew into a rage.
"Others? I’m his biological mother!" She reprimanded loudly, not caring about the number of people in the restaurant, lifted her sleeves, and arrogantly said with hands on hips, "From today, go abroad directly! Don’t tell Adrian, leave quietly, the farther the better. Tell if you need money, I’ll give it to you, however much you need!"
She seed always like this, preferring to use money to dismiss people.
In her eyes, money could solve all problems, including buying love.
