Ariella looked at her stiffened face, stuck her tongue out, and didn’t say more.
She poured her a cup of beer, clinked cups with her, "Alright, let’s not think too much, enjoy our al!"
"Hmm." Sumr Sutton lifted her glass and drank the beer dry.
Neither of them was much of a drinker. They ordered beer simply because they felt irritated and drank just enough to not get drunk.
Sumr Sutton ordered a table full of dishes, and she did eat quite a bit.
Ariella sat across, watching the dishes on the table get emptied one by one, amazed at Sumr Sutton’s appetite, her eyes wide open.
With over twenty dishes, considering Sumr Sutton’s petite figure, it’s impossible for her to finish them all.
But she ate quite a lot, by the end of dinner, at least a dozen plates were empty.
After calling the waiter to settle the bill, Sumr Sutton first sent Ariella back to her place.
She was slightly tipsy, but her consciousness remained clear while driving.
Ariella feared an accident due to drunk driving, initially thought to call Adrian Walyon to pick her up, but before the call was made, Sumr Sutton drove away.
Ariella helplessly stood at the neighborhood entrance, only walked into her own house after watching her car drive away steadily.
After Sumr Sutton left, she returned to her apartnt.
Her stomach was uncomfortably full. After returning ho, she took two digestive pills and went to the balcony to stretch, but Unity followed her out.
Unity was especially clingy today; wherever she went, Unity followed.
It would occasionally lift its round head and ow at her.
