Adrian Walyon hired a chef who is a seasoned cook from River City.
The chef’s mastery over various dishes was impeccable, and the restaurant where they used to work was one Sumr Sutton had frequented since childhood.
Sumr Sutton took just one bite of the dinner and noticed sothing special.
Slowly chewing the food in her mouth, a hint of joy flashed in her eyes.
"I brought them ho, so if you want anything else to eat, just tell the chef at ho and they’ll make it," Adrian Walyon said, helping her with so dishes.
Since her grandfather left, Sumr Sutton hardly stayed in River City, and she had so many mories and nostalgia for that place.
There were so many things she wanted to eat.
She wanted to eat everything her father took her to try when she was young, wanted those snacks that accompanied her growing up, and wanted those dishes that were common on the family dining table before.
To Sumr Sutton, River City is a place of mories, with all the happiness of her childhood.
Her love for the taste of River City was more of an emotional sentint.
This arrangent by Adrian Walyon was sothing she hadn’t expected at all.
Now, when she misses River City, she doesn’t need to go back; she can simply eat the food made by the chef Adrian hired, and it will taste like ho.
Adrian Walyon sat beside her, staring at her the entire ti.
Although Sumr Sutton didn’t say a word from start to finish, everything was written on her face.
The satisfaction from the dinner, the joy from eating the food, the slightly upturned corners of her mouth—he could tell she was genuinely happy.
Poor thing!
Just a al of hotown dishes could satisfy her like this.
So easy to please!
Throughout the dinner, Adrian Walyon kept watching Sumr Sutton.
Sumr Sutton devoured her food ravenously.
Adrian Walyon saw that she’d almost cleared the table of food, thinking that after a hearty al, her anger would dissipate.
Yet, when it was ti to sleep, Sumr Sutton grabbed a quilt and went to the guest room.
Clearly, this dinner didn’t have any effect...
Sumr Sutton was washing up in the guest room.
She could guess Adrian Walyon’s intentions, but she didn’t plan to forgive him.
Did he think buying her stomach could make up for sothing as big as arranging a matchmaking dinner?
Since marrying him, Sumr Sutton had never really had a falling out with him.
This was the first ti.
Whenever she thought of the scene she saw in the café yesterday, her heart felt blocked and uncomfortable.
After splashing several handfuls of water on her face, she finished washing and got into bed.
The main bedroom next door.
Adrian Walyon waited for her in the room for a while.
When she didn’t co back, he slowly walked over to the guest room.
Sumr Sutton covered her head, almost asleep by now.
The sudden sound of the door brought her awake halfway.
Adrian Walyon knocked on the door three tis, waiting quietly to hear any movent inside.
Believing that even if she was asleep, she would wake up due to her light sleep quality.
However, no sound ca from inside.
It was obvious that she didn’t intend to respond to him.
The door to Sumr Sutton’s room was locked, so Adrian Walyon couldn’t get in.
Standing outside the door for a while, Adrian Walyon chatted nonchalantly about the weather, "Winter’s here now, it’s pretty cold today."
Still, there was no movent from inside the room.
"I saw the quilt you brought is quite thin, it might be cold halfway through the night," Adrian Walyon listened for a while and said again.
There was still no sound from the room, and Sumr Sutton seed to have no intention of opening the door.
Adrian Walyon fell silent for a mont, then brazenly spoke up, "I think you need !"
