She was truly lucky; mainly because there was a lot of dead grass at the filming site. Without this cushioning, she might have suffered a concussion from the fall.
Adrian stared at her like that for a long while before slowly walking inside.
When he arrived, the other crew mbers automatically exited.
Adrian stood by the bed, staring intently and conflictedly at her.
"How did you end up getting hurt?"
"I’m fine, see? I can still talk to you," Sumr Sutton comforted him.
"How did you get hurt?" Adrian pursued.
"It was due to a swarm of bees appearing on set. The staff controlling the cranes got affected, and then I got smashed by Little Ariella," Sumr Sutton explained simply.
"In the middle of winter, where do bees co from?" Adrian sat next to her, lifting her hand to examine it.
"Maybe there’s a beehive nearby, and the warm midday weather drove them out?" Sumr Sutton actually had no idea why, so she could only guess, "Or maybe they were attracted to a perfu scent on soone?"
"Your crew is also capable of attracting bees and butterflies?" Adrian teased lightly.
Sumr Sutton was stung by his words, but aside from that, she genuinely couldn’t think of another reason.
Moreover, Ariella usually has no temper at all and gets along well with the staff; it’s impossible anyone would deliberately try to harm her.
Adrian continued checking her wound, unafraid of causing Sumr Sutton pain. He held her arm, twisting it back and forth several tis.
Sumr Sutton’s face changed with the pain, almost screaming, "It hurts, it hurts, Adrian, be gentle!"
"How much does it hurt?" Adrian was dismissive of her words, glancing at her, his face unchanged as he added, "I didn’t hear you screaming this much the first ti."
When he spoke, he never knew anything about embarrassnt.
Sumr Sutton’s face burned hot, and she gritted her teeth in hatred towards him.
Shaless!
How can that kind of thing compare to serious injury?
Adrian continued manipulating her wrist, treating her like a doll, shaking her arm to and fro, twisting it back and forth, making Sumr Sutton so painful she felt like hitting him.
However, whatever his technique was, as he kept moving her arm, the initial pain gradually faded, and it was noticeably better than before.
"Speaking of which, do you want to switch jobs?" Adrian asked suddenly while helping her exercise.
Sumr Sutton was taken aback, not expecting him to bring this up.
Being an assistant was just a transitional job until she graduated. Sumr Sutton had her own dreams, and she wasn’t aiming to be an assistant to an artist.
Her dream had always been to beco a producer, creating excellent TV programs and the like.
Sumr Sutton fell silent for a while, seemingly seriously contemplating his words.
"You can try Morningview, or the production industry," Adrian added.
Morningview is a ga design company, established through gas. Despite Sumr Sutton enjoying playing gas, she wasn’t interested in working in that field.
Now that she’s started her final year internship, perhaps she really could try applying for a producer position.
"Do you want to help you?" Adrian considered thoroughly for her, "If you need it, just tell which company you’d like to go to."
He was essentially leaving the door wide open for her, waiting for her to walk in.
However, Sumr Sutton only wanted to rely on herself.
"No need, I think I can do it." Refusing his offer, Sumr Sutton felt extrely good.
"Tsk, independent now," Adrian teased her, not pressing the issue further.
If she wanted to rely on herself, then self-reliance it is; going out and gaining experience isn’t a bad thing.
