The box’s packaging was brought back by Sumr Sutton from the craft store yesterday morning.
In the restaurant, the candlelight was faint.
Occasionally, the night breeze wafted through, causing the candlelight to gently flicker, casting shadows that added to the tranquility of Morning Garden late at night.
Adrian Walyon stared at the dining table for quite a while before slowly walking over to open the gift box.
Lying inside was a transparent crystal ball, with scenes made to resemble Morning Garden: the villa, the peach grove, the garden, capturing all four seasons.
The ball rotated gently with music, changing seasons with each turn.
Spring’s peach grove, sumr’s rose garden, autumn’s maple forest, winter’s snowy scene were all inside.
All the scenes, and even the entire crystal ball, were handmade, shrinking everything from Morning Garden into a small crystal ball, with handcrafted maple and peach groves.
Sumr Sutton loved snowy scenes, and Adrian Walyon had once told her that when it snowed at Morning Garden in winter, he hoped she would be there.
Last winter, she missed out.
This winter had just arrived, and she spent a night gifting him the spring, sumr, autumn, and winter of Morning Garden in an eternal form.
Picking up the small crystal ball and placing it in his palm, Adrian gazed at the ball for quite a while.
His fingertips gently caressed the transparent sphere, and his lips curled slightly.
At this hour, it was already midnight. Without waking Sumr Sutton, after putting down the crystal ball, Adrian sat at the dining table and quietly tasted a piece of cake she had made.
It was slightly sweet, but compared to other cakes, it was much better, not overly rich.
Sumr Sutton had made a six-inch cake. It’s small, but for one person, it isn’t too small.
Adrian actually didn’t like sweets, yet he finished the entire cake.
A six-inch birthday cake, eaten entirely in the middle of the night...
When he went upstairs, Sumr Sutton was already asleep.
Adrian didn’t wake her. He went to the guest room to freshen up, then returned to the master bedroom, and felt his way into bed.
Instinctively wanting to wrap Sumr Sutton in his arms, Sumr, whether bothered by him affecting her sleep or lost in a dream, nudged him with her elbow, pulling out of his embrace.
Adrian found his arms empty but didn’t mind.
He let her be and quietly fell asleep himself.
When he woke up the next day, Sumr Sutton was already gone.
As he went downstairs, she was having breakfast.
"Sumr, yesterday..." Adrian looked at her, wanting to say sothing about yesterday’s matters, but Sumr Sutton had just finished her breakfast, tidied up her plate, and went to the kitchen.
The words Adrian wanted to say got stuck in his throat.
Sumr Sutton washed her plate and, without looking at him, picked up her work materials and left.
"Do you want to drive you?" Adrian offered.
Sumr Sutton seed not to hear him, opened the car door, got in, and drove off with a roar.
Adrian was helpless and could only go back into the house.
Returning to the dining room to prepare breakfast, he unexpectedly found that Sumr Sutton hadn’t made his portion.
Adrian stared blankly at the empty dining table, feeling a bit of a headache.
Did he upset her last night?

After Sumr Sutton arrived at the company, she seriously started thinking about her new creativity contest.
This competition required making a program, without any restriction on type.
Currently, there are so many programs dostically, far too many to watch.
Finding sothing new in such a crowded environnt is actually very, very difficult.
