There was a heavy chill about him, and even with his back turned, Sumr Sutton could feel it.
Sumr Sutton stiffly glanced in his direction, vaguely guessing what he was going to do, and followed him with large strides, "Adrian, don’t be impulsive!"
Adrian Walyon seed not to hear her, continuing to walk towards Ryan Walyon.
At this mont, Ryan Walyon’s mind was sowhat muddled; after leaving the banquet hall, he just wanted to return to the lounge.
As he walked through the corridor and was about to turn towards the lounge, his wrist was suddenly grabbed from behind.
Before Ryan could react, Adrian’s fist had already flown in.
It struck his jaw directly.
Adrian punched hard, and Ryan felt like his jaw was about to dislocate.
His face remained in the position of having been struck, and he was stunned for quite a while.
This was the first ti Adrian had physically confronted him.
Growing up together, their relationship had always been as close as brothers born of the sa mother.
Even when they were young and naive, no brotherly conflict had ever occurred between them.
For a mont, Ryan’s mind was blank.
Sumr, who ran over, stood not too far away, rigidly watching the scene, shocked by Adrian.
"She is my wife! I’ve warned you before! You can like anyone, but not her!" Adrian shouted as he pushed Ryan against the wall, grabbing his collar roughly.
Ryan was deafened by his yelling, and remained silent for a while after Adrian spoke before his face slowly lifted.
With his gaze level with Adrian’s, a trace of anger reflected in his eyes. He pressed down on Adrian’s hand gripping his collar and, under Sumr’s shocked gaze, returned a punch to Adrian’s face.
"If she’s your wife, you should protect her! Since she entered this family, how much grievance has she endured? When she was forced to leave a year ago, where were you? Did you help her? If you can’t protect her, then let her go! What is it now, bringing her back to the place where she was so deeply hurt?" His voice was loud, and for the first ti, the man who had been almost emotionless from childhood lost control.
Because of Sumr Sutton.
"As long as I haven’t divorced her, she will always have to co back to this family. What difference does it make whether she cos back early or late?" Adrian’s face was already bruised, but he remained silent.
His eyes were covered with a layer of furious crimson, and he swung his fist to give Ryan another punch.
Both brothers fought fiercely; after the punch, Ryan’s mouth bled.
Ryan rubbed his aching cheek, raised his hand to wipe the blood from the corner of his mouth, and gritted his teeth to return Adrian’s punch, "She has to co back only after you’ve sorted out the relationships with your mom and grandpa! If you can’t sort those out, then let her go!"
Sumr, watching from not far away, was stunned for a mont and then stepped forward to intervene, "Enough already, don’t fight anymore!"
She pulled Adrian behind her, her body standing between him and Ryan.
"Let her go, unless I’m dead!" Adrian’s face was cold as he pushed Sumr away, seemingly intending to step forward, when suddenly, from one end of the hallway, the Old Master’s icy-cold voice rang out, "Had enough of your fuss?"
His shout was stern, and Adrian’s raised fist was forcibly restrained.
Supporting himself with a cane, step by step, he walked toward the three of them, first glancing at Adrian whose face was bruised, and then his gaze turned to Ryan, whose mouth was still bleeding.
