A group of maids were also watching her, gathered around the bed, staring at her intently.
"She really is beautiful. Even in such a state, she still draws the eye. I, as a woman, can’t help but take a few more glances."
"Yes, it’s a pity. I wonder what happened, how she ended up out at sea?"
"How much did she go through before eting the Master?"
"Speaking of which, we must thank the Master this ti. If it weren’t for the Master’s yacht just passing by, this woman might have been lost."
"But co to think of it, the Master has never been one to ddle in affairs. Why did he intervene this ti?"
"Who knows! Alright, alright, it’s not our place to discuss the Master’s affairs."
A group of maids chattered away, watching Sumr Sutton like she was a spectacle, then proceeded to comnt on her.
Sumr Sutton had just woken up, her head still heavy.
She rubbed her aching forehead, slowly lifted her heavy eyelids, and followed the maids’ conversation by asking, "Your Master, who is he?"
"This..." The previously noisy group of maids imdiately fell silent.
The room suddenly beca quiet, eerily so.
No one dared to answer Sumr Sutton, as if the question she posed was a forbidden one.
"Is his identity sothing you can’t casually reveal to outsiders?" Sumr understood and didn’t press further.
She had her principles. If others didn’t want her to know sothing, she wouldn’t insist on finding out.
The identity of the person who saved her was not important to her.
No matter who he was, he had saved her life, so to her, he was not a bad person.
"Miss, are you feeling better? Is there anywhere still uncomfortable? Are you thirsty? Hungry? Would you like us to prepare sothing?" The maid skipped her question and asked about her well-being.
Her words reminded Sumr Sutton.
Sumr herself didn’t know how long she had been on that deserted island. For days, she had hardly drunk water and had only eaten wild fruits, which was akin to not eating at all. Her stomach was so empty she didn’t even have the strength to speak.
Her throat was hoarse, like soone who hadn’t touched water for ages, perhaps affected by the saltwater, with a pain that felt like it was tearing.
The coarse voice, like that of a duck, was nothing like her usual soft tone, making her dislike it herself.
The maid looked at her with concern, still waiting for her response.
"Water!" Sumr Sutton rubbed her painfully sore throat, asking the closest maid to her.
"Okay, I’ll get it for you right away!" The servants on this yacht seed to have excellent temperants, or perhaps it was because Sumr Sutton was saved by the yacht’s owner, so the maids in the room tended to her very attentively.
The water was respectfully brought to Sumr Sutton, and the maid helped her drink it down slowly.
Sumr Sutton hadn’t had clean fresh water for a long ti and drank several glasses in a row. Her throat was moistened, which made her feel slightly better.
"Do you want sothing to eat? We’ll have the chef prepare it!" the maid asked again, taking the empty glass and expressing her concern.
Sumr Sutton nodded.
She was hungry, very hungry, having never suffered such hardship since childhood, and felt she could eat anything.
After that, the maid left the room to have sothing prepared.
While waiting, Sumr Sutton leaned back on the bed and rested a little longer.
Over an hour later, a maid brought her a set of clean clothes for her to change into.
It seed that there were only maids on this yacht, with no other won’s clothing available.
The clothes brought to Sumr Sutton were a maid’s outfit.
