M Country.
Sumr Sutton got up very early today.
She even prepared her passport early, ready to return ho at any ti.
In fact, the man who brought her here never clearly ntioned when exactly they would return.
Sumr assud he would handle everything quickly; it was her own reasonable assumption.
After spending a few days with this man, she recovered well.
When she appeared in front of everyone in the morning, there was no trace of the pallor from their first eting. Her complexion was rosy, she was full of energy, and when she spoke, the corners of her lips curved, her eyes seed to sparkle like starlight, making her appear particularly lively.
The man ready to leave couldn’t help but glance at her.
"Morning!" Sumr Sutton, who was chatting with Serena, turned her head and smiled, greeting him, "Going out?"
"Yes." The man responded vaguely, walked a few steps forward, and glanced in her direction, "Together!"
Without explaining anything, he tossed her two words and walked ahead towards the outside of the estate.
Sumr Sutton was stunned, unable to understand why he invited her along.
She had always known his identity was mysterious, and she couldn’t have any communication devices around him, just to prevent leaks of secrets.
She knew he had things to do today.
By inviting her along, wasn’t he afraid she might see or hear things she shouldn’t, discovering his secrets?
The man walking ahead had already gotten into the car, the door was open, as if specially waiting for her.
Since he invited Sumr Sutton along, she didn’t hesitate much and imdiately followed.
Bending down, she sat with him in the back seat; the bodyguards drove the car following behind, a large group slowly heading towards a certain direction in the city.
Sumr Sutton sat in the car, her fingertips lightly tapping on the seat, secretly speculating about the man’s identity beside her.
A lot ca to her mind.
What kind of person protects their personal itinerary so strictly, afraid of external leaks?
Sumr Sutton racked her brain for a long ti, her head felt like it was gently tapped by sothing.
Could he be involved in illegal business?
"You, you..." Her face turned stiff as she looked incredulously at the man beside her, her face suddenly turned pale.
This person mixed in shady dealings?
She didn’t even finish her sentence, yet the man instantly understood where her thoughts were going.
"So, later stay close to . Whatever you see, pretend you didn’t; sa for whatever you hear." Without explaining, he looked at her seriously and instructed, "Otherwise, bullets don’t have eyes. If their people hurt you, it’ll be a disaster."
Sumr Sutton blinked and nodded stiffly.
"Don’t leak anything that’s happened these past few days either. You know soone like , there’s plenty of folks outside unhappy with ." The man leaned his face towards her again, reminding her.
Sumr Sutton nodded stiffly again.
She seed quite serious; she truly believed his words.
The man’s lips seed to twitch slightly, and a faint smile appeared in his eyes as he sat upright, his gaze fixed outside the window.
Sumr Sutton wanted to ask sothing else, but the words that ca out were, "Sun..."
She was actually calling him, but the man beside her seed to misunderstand.
He took her words as knowing he’d been played, swearing.
He frowned and stared at her for quite a while.
