Sumr Sutton spent the whole day at work, and as she was leaving, she overheard a few office colleagues chatting.
"Have you heard? The land next to our company was bought today for a high price."
"Really? That pri location? It must have cost billions."
"I wonder which developer bought it."
Sumr Sutton wasn’t interested in this kind of gossip and didn’t think much of it. After work, she left the office building.
By the ti she got downstairs, Adrian Walyon’s car had already arrived.
Ever since Sumr’s last accident, Adrian has been personally picking her up and dropping her off. Every morning, he makes sure she safely enters the company, and every evening, he waits for her to co out.
After Sumr got in the car and thought about her colleagues’ earlier conversation, bored, she brought it up to him, "By the way, the land next to our company got sold. I wonder how much it went for."
"I bought it," Adrian replied nonchalantly.
"..." Sumr looked at him as if she had a whole egg stuck in her throat, eyes wide with disbelief, "You bought it?"
"Is that a problem?" Adrian asked mildly.
"No," Sumr was a bit speechless, still puzzled, "I just thought Morning Garden and Sutton Gardens are already large enough. No need to buy more."
She assud he bought the land to build a villa, for her convenience to stay there when she had late work nights.
"You’re overthinking," Adrian glanced at her sidelong, twirling his phone absently in his fingers. He casually added, "I bought it just to use as your parking lot."
How could he possibly set up a ho just for her?
Having her stay there alone? How is that different from living apart?
Not even for a couple of nights!
"Parking lot?" Sumr looked at him incredulously, doubting if she heard wrong.
"Yes, a parking lot. I’ll have soone start working on it tomorrow," he tossed her a sentence, set his phone aside, and slowly started the car.
Sumr was a bit disoriented, "How much did it cost?"
"Not much. The land isn’t big; it’s just about a billion," Adrian replied coolly.
Sumr, "..."
Just a billion?
A billion to buy a piece of land just for her parking?
Sumr suddenly felt she couldn’t comprehend Adrian’s world.
Are all the wealthy this capricious?
Adrian’s logic was quite simple.
Royal Delight Entertainnt has its dedicated parking area.
But, they are all underground garages.
Sumr’s last incident happened in an underground garage, so Adrian bought that piece of land to provide her a safer parking environnt.
Later, he’d arrange a few bodyguards at the parking lot; this way, the security for Sumr’s commute would be basically assured.

He designed the entire parking lot beautifully, installed many warm yellow fairy lights, surrounded it with crescent-shaped rose bushes, and set up a fountain. He also arranged for security guards to be on duty 24/7.
Next to such a large company like Royal Delight, this extravagant parking lot imdiately beca headline news as soon as it was completed, spreading wildly within Royal Delight as well.
Everyone speculated about the identity of the parking lot’s owner and who it was built for.
