Sumr Sutton eagerly followed him, attentively poured him a cup of tea and handed it to him, "Here’s the thing, I got fired today."
"Isn’t that great? You can go ho and eat well, drink well, and have soone take care of you." Adrian Walyon lightly sipped his tea, not taking her words seriously at all.
"But, if that’s the case, when Dawnlight Plaza opens next year, I won’t be so close to the mall, and I won’t be able to keep tabs on the business there firsthand. We planned this mall together!" Sumr reminded him.
"That’s true." Adrian lightly tapped his fingertips, seriously thinking about her words.
He didn’t care at all whether she had a job.
However, he did care about their shared efforts.
"Also, I was eliminated from Royal Delight with a score of two points—which is embarrassingly low. If one day people found out your wife had that score, wouldn’t you feel ashad?" Sumr cautiously glanced at him, secretly observing his reaction.
Adrian seed to be pondering her words.
It does seem quite embarrassing.
"The main thing is, I don’t believe this is my true score. If I lose, I need to be convinced. I suspect there’s sothing fishy with this score." Sumr continued.
"What do you want to do?" Adrian took in her words.
Of the whole bunch she said, he honestly didn’t care about anything else, but he hated seeing her suffer.
Sumr perked up when she heard his words.
She leaned in closer and explained the whole situation to him, then described her plan, "I saw you’re quite good at picking locks; you solved the guest room lock in no ti last ti. I think the chief examiner’s office lock won’t challenge you either. I want to see the scoring sheets the other examiners gave , which might an a bit of a struggle for you tonight."
She’s asking him to steal information from Royal Delight!
Sumr knows how capable Adrian is.
For her, sothing like this might be as difficult as climbing the sky.
But for Adrian, Sumr believes it’s no big deal.
Adrian stared at her for a while, his brow twitching a couple of tis.
He’s soone of his status and she’s asking him to sneak into Royal Delight, climbing walls and scaling buildings?
"Are you going or not?" Sumr nudged him.
"What’s in it for ?" Adrian remained seated, motionless.
"What do you want?" Sumr asked casually.
Adrian raised an eyebrow, his gaze slowly gaining a mischievous glint, "Whatever I want, you’ll give it?"
He didn’t actually say anything, but Sumr instantly caught his aning.
She was extrely embarrassed, her face instantly turning red.
Adrian casually played with his phone, still waiting for her answer.
Sumr remained silent for a while after his words, then nodded stiffly, "Okay."
Adrian’s lips curled slightly, standing up in a good mood.
"What ti does the company building go dark?"
"Around ten o’clock, it’s pretty much deserted." Sumr followed him and grabbed his hand, "I’ll go with you; I’ll find a place to wait for you downstairs."
"Alright." Adrian didn’t refuse; he gathered so tools upstairs, and when it was close to ten o’clock, drove to Royal Delight Tower.
At ten o’clock, Royal Delight is very quiet as all the employees are off work.
While in the car, Sumr ticulously drew him a route map, indicating clearly which floor, which room the chief examiner’s office was in, and how to get there.
