She couldn’t understand what the Old Master ant right now.
Bryce Walyon was still sitting by the side, drinking tea.
His gaze swept toward the Old Master, discreetly staring at the red envelope in his hand, Bryce’s face was sowhat tense.
"Take it!" The Old Master urged Sumr Sutton.
Sumr Sutton originally didn’t plan to accept it, but Adrian Walyon suddenly snatched the red envelope and forcibly stuffed it into her hand.
"Grandpa is giving this for the future great-grandchild, hoping we’ll have a child soon." Explaining on behalf of the Old Master, Adrian Walyon pulled Sumr Sutton toward the dining table.
"Starving, let’s hurry and eat!"
Sumr Sutton lowered her eyes to look at the red envelope in her hand, suddenly feeling it particularly burning.
When they didn’t need her, they wouldn’t listen to her reasons and directly made her leave. But when they wanted to continue the family line, they encouraged her?
Sumr Sutton suddenly found it sowhat ironic but didn’t take it to heart.
The Old Master wasn’t soone she needed to be concerned about. If she wanted a child, it would definitely be because of Adrian Walyon, or herself, unrelated to anyone else’s wishes.
By now, it was already very late. Sumr Sutton walked to the dining table and had a al with Adrian Walyon, just the two of them, for a Unity dinner. When the al was over, it was exactly the New Year.
Sophie Walyon was very excited tonight. After Sumr Sutton finished eating, she dragged her off to the garden.
"Let’s go, ti to play with fireworks!"
Sumr Sutton and Sophie Walyon had a great ti, each holding a bunch of handheld fireworks, lighting them one by one, playing joyfully in the garden.
Adrian Walyon stood to the side, smiling as he watched Sumr Sutton.
Sumr Sutton probably noticed his gaze, turned her head to look at him, the corners of her lips slightly curved, her face under the fireworks’ glow, bright and vivid.
Adrian Walyon felt as if his heart was lightly stirred by a willow branch, took a few steps toward her, took the fireworks from her hand, handed them all to Sophie Walyon, grabbed Sumr Sutton’s hand, and walked toward their villa, "It’s very late, ti to sleep!"
His reason was clearly justified.
Sophie Walyon scoffed with disdain, "As if people don’t know what you two are rushing back to do!"
With Sumr Sutton gone, Sophie Walyon felt much more bored.
He lit all the remaining fireworks by himself, scattered them in the air, then turned and went back to his room.
...
Tonight, Adrian Walyon’s villa was brightly lit.
Adrian Walyon hurriedly led Sumr Sutton into the house, closed the door, didn’t even bother going upstairs, lifted her and placed her on the shoe cabinet at the entrance, his face very close to hers, "Baby, about the child, let’s try. No need to deliberately avoid it, let’s leave it to fate, okay?"
When he spoke like this, he was incredibly gentle, and Sumr Sutton, as if drunk from a whole jar of wine, stared at him for a while, then suddenly felt a bit intoxicated.
Sumr Sutton felt that she must have been bewitched by him. Before she could rationally think, her hand had already landed on Adrian Walyon’s shoulder, pressing her body closer to him...
Adrian Walyon’s lips seed to curve into an elusive smile as he removed her clothes, leaned down, and started kissing her bit by bit...
The next day, the first day of the lunar New Year.
It was the second New Year that Sumr Sutton spent with the Walyon Family.
Sumr Sutton got up a little late this morning, and by the ti she entered the dining room, it was already eight-thirty.
Diana Wood was also at the dining table, and as soon as Sumr Sutton sat down, Diana’s gaze imdiately swept to Sumr Sutton’s belly.
Diana’s gaze was very direct, not hiding it at all.
Realizing what she was looking at, Sumr Sutton instantly understood.
Sumr Sutton felt sowhat awkward, her gaze naturally shifted away.
