The snacks on the dining table looked similar to crystal dumplings, though the filling might differ.
The chef of the Walyon Family really went all out for her, as the aroma was mouthwatering.
Sumr Sutton picked up her chopsticks, ready to start, when Ryan Walyon suddenly walked in from the garden.
"Sumr!" His voice, she wasn’t sure if it was her imagination, sounded sowhat urgent.
Sumr Sutton was startled, paused her movent, and stiffly turned her head to look at him.
"Ryan, you’re back too!" She greeted him, not understanding why he was calling her.
Ryan Walyon strode over to her side, glanced at the snacks on the table, and his gaze seed to shift slightly.
However, the transition was too quick for Sumr Sutton to notice.
His gaze lingered on the snacks a bit too long.
Sumr Sutton assud he was hungry, awkwardly inviting him, "There should be more prepared at ho, would you like to try so?"
Ryan Walyon acted as if he hadn’t heard her, continuing to stare at the snacks.
Sumr Sutton found his gaze odd, her brows furrowing more tightly.
Not paying much attention to him, she held her chopsticks, ready to pick up a snack and bring it to her mouth, but Ryan Walyon suddenly slapped her hand away, causing the chopsticks and snack to fall onto the dining table.
He exerted a considerable force, seeming sowhat urgent.
Sumr Sutton looked at the red mark on her hand where he had slapped it, becoming even more puzzled.
Without any explanation, Ryan Walyon tidied up the ss on the table, picked up the snacks, and took them into the kitchen, dumping the entire plate into the trash.
Sumr Sutton turned her head, looking at him with a sowhat astonished expression.
"There were bugs in there!" Ryan Walyon tossed her a sentence, throwing the dish into the sink, then opened the other steaming snacks in the kitchen to take a look.
The other snacks seed to have just been placed in there, just beginning to steam, and were made after Bryce Walyon had left.
With a gentle sigh, Ryan Walyon walked out of the kitchen.
Sumr Sutton was completely bewildered throughout.
He had stared at the snack plate for so long, all because of this?
"It’s better for pregnant won to eat clean food." Ryan Walyon tossed the sentence to her, then strode out of the main house.
Sumr Sutton, "..."
Sumr Sutton didn’t quite understand his behavior today.
Today, Ryan Walyon seed so odd in her eyes.
Yet she couldn’t pinpoint exactly what was odd.
Not paying much mind, she didn’t continue eating the snacks, and Sumr Sutton went upstairs to look for Adrian Walyon.
As she went upstairs, Adrian Walyon had just finished changing his clothes and was buttoning his shirt.
Seeing Sumr Sutton entering the room, he pulled her into his arms, guiding her hand to his buttons.
"Help !" His handso face leaned slightly toward her, his breath warm in her ear.
He had only ever asked Sumr Sutton to help him take off his clothes, almost never asking her to help him put them on.
Sumr Sutton found his words today rather unusual, smiled, and gently brushed her fingers over his row of buttons, but did not fasten them.
"Are you hungry?" She glanced up at him, starting a casual chat.
She actually wanted to say that the snacks were thrown away by Ryan Walyon, and she was now hungry.
If Adrian Walyon was also hungry, maybe he could take her out for dinner.
"Hungry," Adrian Walyon replied to her without any hesitation.
"Great!" Sumr Sutton perked up upon hearing this, but before she could continue, Adrian Walyon pushed her against the wall behind, guiding her hand to his shoulder blade.
"Been hungry for days now, and you only just noticed?" In her ear, his voice was lazy, a bit roguish.
