When Adrian Walyon was shopping, he actually had no thoughts in his mind, purely buying whatever looked good to him.
In his subconscious, his son actually had no status, and things for baby boys didn’t even catch his attention.
As for Sumr Sutton, he was particularly scornful, "Does it matter?"
Throwing three words at her, Adrian Walyon leisurely went upstairs.
Sumr Sutton’s lips twitched, speechless at him.
How could it not matter?
If the baby in the belly really turned out to be a boy, but everything the family prepared was for a girl, wouldn’t it be awkward to use?
...
Recently, Adrian Walyon had been spending much more ti with the family; it was still early when he returned from dining out.
He was purely idle, plus he had seen a lot of cute things that night.
After going upstairs, he made a call to his assistant, asking the assistant to buy loads of stuff and have it delivered; he seed to be busy with sothing upstairs.
Sumr Sutton was tidying up the house downstairs; when she went upstairs, it was ten o’clock.
When she found Adrian in the guest room, he had his back to her, still busy.
In his hand was a not-yet-completed stuffed toy, an adorable big-eared bunny, pink, a color little girls would like.
It was hard to associate Adrian Walyon with the color pink; everything he did that night seed very mismatched to Sumr Sutton.
With his head down, Adrian was diligently working on the stuffed toy in his hands.
The whole bunny was entirely handmade, and for soone who had never touched a toy before, this was his first ti making one.
Having never touched, played with, or handled such things, he didn’t do it very smoothly; he even studied how to sew for quite a while.
Sumr Sutton stood beside him, staring blankly at him, for however long Adrian was busy, she accompanied him.
After midnight, considering that she had been going to bed early recently, Adrian urged her to sleep first, "Don’t wait for , go to sleep!"
"It’s okay." Sumr Sutton walked over to him, crouched beside him, and tinkered with the toy in his hands alongside him.
Taking the bunny, she skillfully helped him sew it.
She was much more adept at this than Adrian Walyon, and seeing her like this, Adrian was sowhat surprised.
"My dad used to buy many toys, and after playing with them for long, so would get damaged, but I couldn’t bear to throw them away, so I sewed and patched them myself," Sumr Sutton explained with a faint smile.
Adrian nodded, watching her work from the side.
Sumr Sutton’s hands were unusually nimble; although she had never made a stuffed toy by herself before, she was quite adept for her first ti.
One bunny, Adrian Walyon was responsible for stuffing, while Sumr Sutton was responsible for sewing. It took several hours, and by the ti it was done, it was very late.
Adrian didn’t seem tired at all, playing and tossing the toy in his hands repeatedly.
Hey, it actually felt quite accomplished!
It was sothing he and his wife made together for their child!
"Alright, ti to sleep!" Sumr Sutton, too tired to go on, had to work the next morning, yawned, and snuggled into bed.
Adrian followed her into bed, habitually pulling her into his arms, his hand resting on her belly, his gaze vacantly fixed outside the window, imrsed in his own thoughts.
"Honey, who do you think our child will look like when they’re born?"
At that mont, Sumr Sutton was really too sleepy, and without thinking much, she replied, "Like you."
Adrian Walyon was such a strong personality in every aspect; his genes should probably be a bit stronger than hers?
Sumr Sutton’s logic at that mont was quite peculiar.
