Turning her face to the side, she carefully watched Adrian Walyon, observing his reaction.
Adrian remained silent for a while after her words, then turned to look at her, raising an eyebrow, "More than a month apart?"
"Yeah, more than a month, and it’ll pass quickly." Sumr Sutton didn’t think more than a month was long at all. Plus, it was just sleeping in separate rooms, not living apart without seeing each other every day. She really didn’t see the big deal.
Besides, she hadn’t even asked him to stay away for the whole ten months of her pregnancy!
Adrian’s handso face lowered, his fingertips pinching her small chin, his lips curling mockingly. He slowly uttered the words, "Are you dreaming?"
Sumr was stunned.
"You haven’t even given birth yet and you’re already acting foolish?" Adrian sneered lightly, releasing his hand.
A married couple, don’t even ntion more than a month, he wouldn’t allow even one night apart!
Sumr pouted, speechless at him.
"Aren’t I doing this for you?"
"Unnecessary." Adrian casually tossed the words back at her, continuing to blow dry his short hair.
Sumr thought his words ant that he had great self-control and believed he could handle whatever happened when they lay in bed together each night.
But clearly, she overthought it.
After finishing drying his hair, Adrian tossed the blow-dryer aside, picked her up, and threw her onto the bed.
They both fell into the soft sheets, his body hovering above hers, lips curling wickedly, "Aren’t you afraid that a few nights apart might make lose control and the consequences beco even more severe?"
Sumr, "..."
Adrian’s body slowly lowered, his fingertips lifting a small strand of her hair by her cheek, deeply inhaling its scent. His handso face moved close to her ear, speaking slowly, "A man can’t be repressed. If repressed too long, the outburst will be when he loses control, understand?"
Whether he was joking or serious, Sumr couldn’t tell.
She looked up at him, dumbfounded for a few seconds.
"So..." Adrian paused, his lips kissing lightly on the side of her face, "During this ti, you’ll help , okay?"
The last word, he prolonged slightly.
Help?
Sumr’s mind was in a whirl.
She had just imagined him being all serious, sacrificing himself for fatherhood, but unexpectedly, he acted like a rogue in front of her for so long!
Just thinking about the image, Sumr felt her face heat up as if it were on fire.
Adrian lifted her hand to his lips, kissing it softly, his gaze fixed on her, his palm enveloping her hand, guiding it to rest on his shoulder, guiding her fingers slowly downward.
He kept watching her, not missing any expression on her face.
Sumr felt like her heart was pounding like a frightened little deer as he looked at her intensely.
He wasn’t actually doing anything, but it made her incredibly nervous.
Her palm slid down his chest, and as she attempted to withdraw, Adrian refused, guiding her hand under his pajamas.
When her fingertips touched his warm skin, Sumr’s heartbeat quickened.
Ever since she found out she was pregnant, he hadn’t touched her. Sumr was more reserved and hadn’t really looked at his physique.
In just over twenty days, Adrian’s chest seed to have grown firr, his muscle definition sharper, every part exuding an intense aura of hormones.
As Sumr caressed and touched more, she beca more nervous, almost like a shy schoolgirl, suddenly not daring to look him in the eye.
