Adrian Walyon didn’t ask for much from this marriage; keeping it simple with Sumr Sutton was enough.
No noisy quarrels, no misunderstandings or suspicions, and definitely no love triangles.
Of course, once the baby was born, the family of three would be even more perfect.
Today, neither of them had to go to work. Adrian sat on the sofa handling so company matters, while Sumr was on her phone, battling in a ga.
She was quite dedicated; even with a baby on the way, she couldn’t forget her gas.
However, when it ca to gaming, Sumr always had enthusiasm but never the talent. This was simply not her forte.
She was playing "King of Glory," the only mobile ga Sumr claid to excel at.
Her so-called expertise wasn’t due to having great gaming skills, but rather because she’d played countless matches.
Yet, her level was still at the elentary student stage.
But does it really matter?
The important thing was that she was having fun!
As Adrian worked, he occasionally heard Sumr’s voice.
"Hubby, I’m ambushed."
"Hubby, soone’s targeting ."
"Hubby, this person chased past two towers."
"Oh no, I died again!"
Adrian’s mouth twitched. He put down his work and turned to look at her with a hint of helplessness.
"Why do these people always love hiding in bushes to ambush ?" Sumr seed quite frustrated, furrowing her brows deeply.
Adrian glanced at her phone screen and checked how many tis she’d died: 1/8.
The ga had only been going for eight minutes in total.
What an embarrassnt...
Rubbing his temples, Adrian was once again impressed by her gaming skills.
Before he could reply to Sumr, one of Sumr’s teammates in the ga casually typed two lines.
—Hey, do you know why you keep dying?
—Because you’re the best target to attack!
He was openly disrespecting Sumr’s gaming ability, mocking her poor skills!
Sumr couldn’t take it anymore!
Sure, she wasn’t very good, but if the other four teammates were any good, they should be able to carry her, right?
But her team was at a disadvantage all along.
Clearly, her teammates weren’t much better either.
Seeing her getting quite frustrated, Adrian thought about whether he should help her out and take down all five enemies for her.
Surprisingly, Sumr herself started hiding in the bushes to ambush others.
It seed the provocation had invigorated her, and she beca quite spirited while playing.
She was playing a mage called Princess King, and she ran into the enemy’s red bush alone, freezing both the enemy’s jungler and support, taking them down one-on-two, and then later in a team fight, her ultimate wiped out the remaining five low-health enemies.
In her gold-level gaplay, she managed to score a quintuple kill.
After the announcent of her five kills in a row, her teammates were all stunned.
ssage alerts popped up with nine consecutive ellipses, and it was clear everyone else in the ga was shocked.
Was this the sa noob who kept getting ambushed?
After a long silence, one player sent out a disgruntled ssage: "Did she get soone else to play for her?"
Sumr chuckled coldly and calmly replied: "Sister’s strength just hadn’t been fully revealed yet."
The opponent: ...
Watching this entire scene unfold, Adrian’s mouth twitched several tis.
He really hadn’t expected Sumr to be capable of such deft maneuvers.
