Ariella Sawyer stared at him for quite a while, feeling a bit of a headache.
The Walyon Family’s security was doing a shift change at this mont, so there was no one at the gate.
Ariella glanced at the empty entrance, suddenly unsure of what to do.
Leave Ryan Walyon in the car and just go?
She didn’t feel comfortable leaving a drunk person alone in the car.
After pacing at the entrance for a while, Ariella gritted her teeth, grabbed Ryan Walyon’s arm, draped it over her shoulder, and supported him toward the big house.
Luckily, Ryan wasn’t as heavy as last ti, so she could barely manage to carry him.
"Where’s your room?" she asked while walking.
Ryan didn’t respond at first. Ariella had to pat him several tis before he lazily opened his eyes and pointed in the direction of his private residence.
The standalone houses within the Walyon Family estate were easy to distinguish, as each one was spaced quite far apart. The direction Ryan pointed to had only one small villa.
Ariella struggled to help him inside, pressed his hand to unlock the door with his fingerprint, and laid Ryan on the living room sofa, panting from exhaustion, collapsing onto the floor without wanting to move.
"You’re really heavy!" she complained, rubbing her sore arms, legs, and feet.
Ryan was lying on the sofa, breathing heavily, and it was unclear if he was conscious.
Ariella sat on the carpet for a while, massaged her arms, legs, neck, and back, and glanced at him again.
"Are you okay? Do you want to call your family to take care of you?"
Ryan continued sleeping; she wasn’t sure if he heard her.
It was already past eleven, and as an unmarried female celebrity, if the dia found out she was at a man’s private villa at this hour, who knows what rumors might spread by tomorrow.
Ariella didn’t want anyone to know she brought Ryan ho tonight, not even Sumr Sutton.
Afraid that calling a servant might make things more complicated, she suppressed the urge, walked around the villa herself, found a towel in Ryan’s room, dampened it, and wiped his face and body.
She perford her actions ticulously, not daring to slack off.
After wiping Ryan down and putting the towel back, she looked at him again, "Alright, I should go. Rest well, I won’t disturb you any longer!"
After explaining, she prepared to leave, only to have her dress unexpectedly caught from behind.
Ariella paused, her heart beating quickly.
Facing away from Ryan, her body stiffened for a while, her gaze slowly dropping to his hand grasping her dress.
Carefully, she observed his reaction.
Ariella’s heart was racing, pounding as if it would leap out of her throat.
She didn’t understand why Ryan suddenly did this.
What she wanted to know was whether he was sober or still drunk at this mont.
After watching him for a while, Ryan slowly opened his previously closed eyes.
His eyes seed to be shrouded in fog, hazy and indistinct.
When he looked at Ariella, his gaze seed sowhat focused.
The aning of that gaze was sothing Ariella didn’t understand.
"You should rest," Ariella said after waiting for a while without him saying anything further, gently pulling on her dress, ready to leave.
The man behind her mumbled a single word, "Hot..."
"Oh." Ariella quickly returned to her senses, assuming he was uncomfortable wearing his suit, and helped take off his jacket, placing it aside.
Assuming everything was okay, she intended to leave after finishing, but before she could take a step, the man behind her suddenly pulled her with force.
