The force of her push was quite strong.

Ryan Walyon unsteadily fell back onto the sofa, but seed to feel nothing and fell back into a deep sleep.

He didn’t wake up, leaving Ariella Sawyer suddenly at a loss as to how to deal with the situation at hand.

Appearing in a man’s private villa in the middle of the night, and being caught by his family, what would the elderly think of her?

Ariella Sawyer had known Sumr Sutton for quite a while, and she was well aware of most of Sumr Sutton’s affairs.

Naturally, she also had so understanding of what kind of people the Walyons were.

To Ariella Sawyer, the Walyons were all like tigers, not to be provoked.

Old Master Walyon was still eyeing her, examining her from head to toe, his gaze lingering on her face for quite so ti.

Ariella Sawyer had no desire to be associated with the Walyons, but since she had been caught, out of respect for her elders, she got up from the floor, tidied her disheveled appearance, and took the initiative to introduce herself, "Good evening, sir! My na is Ariella Sawyer; I’m a friend of Jimmy Evans. Jimmy had a bit too much to drink tonight, and I was just bringing him back."

What she said was rather evasive.

Old Master Walyon looked at her for a long ti, obviously only wanting to know about her relationship with Ryan Walyon.

Friends?

Could friends be hugging on the sofa, doing intimate things?

Ariella Sawyer felt especially guilty under his scrutiny, her gaze unable to et his eyes, quickly lowering her head.

In fact, calling herself a friend of Ryan Walyon didn’t seem quite right to Ariella Sawyer.

She had only t Ryan Walyon a few tis; she probably couldn’t even be considered a friend, right?

Old Master Walyon stared at her for a while and when Ariella Sawyer was prepared to leave, he casually tossed a line her way, "Since you’re here, why don’t you co to the main house and sit for a while!"

It should be past midnight now.

Why sit at such a late hour?

Ariella Sawyer had an instinctive feeling that it wasn’t a good idea, and she was actually quite reluctant to go.

She didn’t even want to stay another second in this house, but since the Old Master had spoken, it seed inappropriate not to go.

With no choice, Ariella Sawyer could only follow behind the elderly gentleman towards the main house.

Entering the hall, the elder first took a seat on the sofa, gesturing for her to sit on another sofa beside him.

Ariella Sawyer walked over with her head hanging low, sitting down with her head hanging even lower, careful not to let her eyes wander aimlessly.

In a family like the Walyons, there were too many rules; she was afraid of inadvertently giving offense.

The old man held a cup of floral tea, his fingers lightly swaying the cup, blowing on the steam, his voice steady and unfluctuating, "What did you just say your na was?"

Ariella Sawyer didn’t understand the aning behind his question and repeated her na, "Ariella Sawyer, Sawyer spelled like S-A-W-Y-E-R, and Ariella like A-R-I-E-L-L-A."

"How old are you?" The old man asked again.

Ariella Sawyer answered honestly, "Twenty-one."

"What do you do for a living?" The old man took a small sip of tea and asked again.

"I’m an actress," Ariella Sawyer replied.

The old man furrowed his brows slightly, seemingly displeased with her profession.

Ariella Sawyer hadn’t planned on getting involved with the Walyons anyway, her job didn’t need his approval.

"It’s very late now, if you have no more questions, sir, I’ll take my leave." Out of courtesy, she nodded toward the old man, then turned to leave the living room.

Just as she reached the door, she bumped into Sumr Sutton coming inside.

Seeing Ariella at this hour in the house, Sumr Sutton was visibly shocked, looking at Ariella as if she had seen a ghost.

"Little Ariella, what are you doing here?"

"Nothing, I’ll tell you tomorrow." Ariella Sawyer didn’t explain, gave her a slight smile, and walked with her head down out the main door.
