What’s the good in letting her in?
Sumr Sutton turned her head to the side, rejecting him outright, "No!"
"Really?" Adrian Walyon lazily let his long limbs hang loose, resting his hand on the edge of the bathtub, feeling the steaming heat on his face, and closed his eyes comfortably.
"Of course." Sumr Sutton turned her back, fiddling with the mouthwash cup next to her.
She was just bored, purely killing ti.
Adrian Walyon was enjoying his bath, staying quiet for a while.
He usually showered pretty quickly, but today, for so reason, he seed to be purposely lingering in the bathtub.
Sumr Sutton was getting a bit impatient standing by, raising her fist to pound on her own sore arms and legs.
"Bored?" Adrian Walyon glanced lazily at her and asked.
Sumr Sutton was indeed bored.
Adrian Walyon stared at her for a while, resting his elbow on the edge of the bathtub, and nonchalantly suggested, "If you’re bored, should I help you pass the ti?"
He would help her pass the ti?
How?
Sumr Sutton just thought about it, and her heart trembled a bit.
"No need! You wash up, I’m leaving!" She muttered, turning her head to walk out of the bathroom, but Adrian Walyon’s hand suddenly grabbed hers —
Before Sumr Sutton could react, her body fell with a thud into the bathtub.
Adrian Walyon’s actions were so sudden, she had no ti to guard against them.
Sumr Sutton was a little flustered, her first reaction was to protect her belly.
Before she could make a move, a pair of strong arms embraced her, and she fell securely into a warm embrace.
The steaming water from the bathtub surged over her, bringing a comforting warmth.
Sumr Sutton’s gaze fell rigidly, staring at Adrian Walyon’s arms around her for quite a while, then let out a soft sigh.
She thought his recent actions were habitual, forgetting her current condition.
Now, it seed he knew where to draw the line.
Adrian Walyon positioned her in front of him, arms encircling her from behind, comfortably closing his eyes, "Just let hold you for a while!"
He hadn’t held her properly like this in ages.
In truth, Adrian Walyon felt quite bitter about it.
In the past, if he had pulled Sumr Sutton into the bathtub, he would have acted on his desires without hesitation.
But now, all he could do was hold her...
Adrian Walyon contemplated this, feeling a bit unsettled.
If their child was a daughter, he could accept the frustrations he’s experiencing now.
But if it turned out to be a son, Adrian Walyon would truly be at a loss.
Sumr Sutton knew what he was thinking and knew that Adrian Walyon wouldn’t do anything to her at this mont. So she turned around, took a towel, and began to gently wipe his body.
"You’ve soaked long enough; you should wash up and get out sooner rather than later."
What Sumr Sutton really wanted to say was, even if he stayed longer, it wouldn’t tempt her as she was now.
For her, nothing was more important than the safety of their child.
However, fearing it would hurt Adrian Walyon’s male self-esteem, she didn’t voice these thoughts aloud.
Adrian Walyon wasn’t satisfied with her just wiping his body; he grabbed her hand and kissed the back of it, then cupped her face, kissing here and there for quite a while.
It seed like it wasn’t enough, as his hand slowly traced down her slender shoulder, lingering on her body a little longer.
