His gaze even gave her a sense of familiarity.
Their eyes t quietly across a few ters, just staring at each other. The man glanced at her for a while, then turned his head and signaled to Alexander Winslow behind him, "Let’s go!"
"Hmm." The two figures quietly walked toward the doors of the hotel hosting the evening banquet.
Sumr Sutton’s gaze followed his figure, watching him slowly disappear into the night. When the man had already reached the hotel entrance and was about to get into the car to leave, Sumr didn’t know what was wrong with her but felt a trace of reluctance.
The masked man had already gotten into the car, and Alexander Winslow sat in the driver’s seat, ready to start the engine.
Sumr quietly stared at the man sitting in the back seat for a mont. She also knew what was happening to her at this mont. Just before the car was about to leave, she suddenly broke into a sprint toward the outside.
"Miss Sutton, where are you going?"
"Miss Sutton, we still have to et a few clients later!"
Behind her, Marshall Quinn’s calls echoed.
Sumr seed unable to hear, lifting the hem of her gown as she forcefully ran out of the hotel.
She was wearing pointy high heels and a gown, making running sowhat strenuous, her slender ankles twisted several tis.
She seed unaware, her gaze fixed on the man sitting in the car, continuing to run toward him.
Her high heels clattered against the hotel floor, the sound spreading into the night with urgency.
Alexander Winslow noticed the commotion over here, turned his head to look outside the car window.
"It’s that girl from earlier!" Looking at the determinedly running Sumr, he reminded the man behind him.
No response ca from behind.
The masked man lightly closed his eyes, remaining silent.
"She seems to be looking for soone." Alexander’s voice rang again.
Still no response from behind.
Although Alexander Winslow wasn’t particularly enthusiastic about company matters, he wasn’t indifferent to won.
A girl so beautiful, with a sprained and injured foot, her gait staggered, yet still running so desperately.
The person she’s looking for should be very important, right?
"She’s a beauty!" As soone with a love for beauty, Alexander, rely a bystander, felt a bit sympathetic witnessing this scene.
His tone carried a faint hint of teasing, initially intending to see if he could provoke a reaction from the man behind him, only to receive a sudden kick in return.
At the banquet earlier, the man was still soone sitting in a wheelchair.
However, this kick was not light at all.
Alexander even wondered, if the man’s leg hadn’t been injured, would this kick have taken away half his life?
"That harsh?" Hugging his kicked leg, Alexander cried out in pain, unable to fathom what he had done to provoke the man, "What did I say?"
The man offered no explanation for his behavior, his gaze indifferently turned to look outside the window.
In the night, that slender figure outside the window was still running toward them. Probably running too hastily, Sumr suddenly fell heavily to the ground after rushing out of the hotel doors.
Her fall was hard, with a thud audible even to Alexander Winslow beside the road.
Alexander drew a sharp breath, unable to bear watching anymore, pushed open the car door ready to go out, "I’ll go help her!"
Just as he was about to leave, the cold voice of the man inside the car suddenly sounded, "You really like ddling in other people’s business!"
