Sumr Sutton just felt that the newly appointed CEO of Shining Sky was Adrian Walyon.
As for why he was unwilling to go ho with her, Sumr Sutton had many speculations.
Maybe, during the accident, he had a head injury and forgot about her?
Or perhaps, there was sothing he needed to investigate, making it inconvenient to recognize her?
Or perhaps his leg injury was too severe, and before it healed, he didn’t want to return to her side and cause her worry?
No matter the reason, Sumr Sutton could accept it.
She didn’t care about anything else; to Sumr Sutton, just knowing that he’s living well is already enough!
What Sumr Sutton needed to do now was find a way to see the face beneath that man’s mask and confirm her suspicions.
That night, she couldn’t sleep, too excited.
All night long, her mind was filled with Adrian Walyon.
Thinking about how to approach him, see his face, wondering about his leg injury, and how long it would take to heal.
Wondering if he, like her, was lying in bed, unable to sleep because he was thinking of her.
Sumr Sutton had just had a good night’s sleep the previous night, and now she was suffering from insomnia again.
Thinking of Adrian Walyon gave her insomnia...
The next morning, when she got up, she had noticeable bags under her eyes.
But her mood was unaffected, and she went to work with vigor and energy.
These past couple of days, her focus on the Shining Sky Group had increased, reading news, reading newspapers, and during breaks online, all the information she followed was related to Shining Sky.
After work at Royal Delight, she went to the Morningview Group and even intentionally asked Marshall Quinn to help investigate the recent movents of the Shining Sky Group.
Marshall Quinn didn’t know her purpose; in his view, Morningview Group and Shining Sky Group were two completely unrelated companies.
"Miss Sutton, are you interested in the perfus developed by Shining Sky too?" With thoughts running, Marshall Quinn accidentally got sidetracked.
Sumr Sutton was slightly taken aback but didn’t explain; she just went along with his words and replied, "Yes, I think the scent is quite good. The perfu called Heartbeat, I slled it at the counter, and it’s a fragrance very suitable for won. I’m quite looking forward to the company’s next product launch."
"Oh, I see!" With a look of sudden realization, Marshall Quinn put down the files in his hand with a thud and turned to leave the office.
Sumr Sutton thought he was going to investigate information on Shining Sky for her.
Little did she know, Marshall Quinn left for about an hour or so, and when he returned, he brought back a pile of perfus, of various scents and styles, seemingly having brought the entire Shining Sky perfu counter.
He placed everything on Sumr Sutton’s desk, and the sizable desk was completely covered.
"Miss Sutton, I’ve bought them all for you! Pick the ones you like, as many as you want!" he said, clapping his hands, feeling particularly wise.
Sumr Sutton was dumbfounded for quite a while, speechless at him.
