Watt Bennet ignored her, kept a cold face, and continued eating.
Sumr Sutton glanced at him, seriously asking the question she cared about, "In the days I was away, has your leg injury improved a bit?"
Now, her biggest concern about him was his injury. Even when she was abroad, Sumr Sutton constantly worried about his leg.
Sumr Sutton had learned a lot about Alexander Winslow while she was abroad.
Although he was useless in business, his dical expertise was significant.
The Winslow Family has their own hospital, and Alexander Winslow’s grandparents were both from dical backgrounds. Alexander was exposed to dical knowledge since he was young and had studied abroad since high school, attending the best dical schools.
Alexander Winslow, though only twenty-five or twenty-six, had already treated several incurable patients.
He was highly reputed, rumored to have the power to bring back the dead. Even internationally renowned politicians sought his treatnt.
With such a doctor friend nearby, Sumr Sutton thought, since it had been a month since the crash, Watt’s leg injury should have healed.
However, when she drove him back today and helped him into the house, Sumr Sutton found it just as difficult as it was half a month ago.
Watt remained silent at her words.
Such silence plunged Sumr Sutton’s heart into the depths.
How hard is his injury to treat?
Watt seed unwilling to ntion his injury and after finishing his al, moved to the living room.
Sumr Sutton followed him, sat beside him. While he handled Shining Sky’s matters, Sumr Sutton watched him intently.
They had been apart for more than ten days. Previously, it was always Adrian Walyon who longed for the other during such short separations.
However, this ti, it was Sumr Sutton.
Sumr Sutton rested her chin in her palm, tapping the sofa cushion with her fingers while staring at his finely-chiseled handso face for a while. She smiled slightly, suddenly saying, "These days, I’ve been thinking about you every day. What about you?"
The last two words were laced with probing, expectation, and even a bit of caution.
Watt’s fingers click-clacked on the laptop, as if he hadn’t heard her.
They were sitting so close together, and her voice wasn’t soft. How could he not hear her under normal circumstances?
He was clearly refusing to answer this question.
Sumr Sutton felt a bit disappointed, shrugged her shoulders, didn’t press it, and went upstairs.
Aside from the past two days Sumr Sutton had been here, Watt’s villa had always been occupied by just one person.
A single man’s place, especially one busy twenty-four hours a day, wasn’t strictly organized. Things were placed however he liked, and clothes were scattered ssily in the dressing room.
Sumr Sutton didn’t even know why, but suddenly her footsteps beca light when she entered the dressing room. She tiptoed to his wardrobe, opened it, and rummaged around.
Sumr Sutton wanted to see if there were any won’s clothes there.
Not finding any, she picked up his scattered clothes one by one, sniffing them to see if there was any lingering scent of won’s perfu.
Finding nothing, she suddenly found herself a bit ridiculous.
What was she thinking?
She had already believed he was Adrian Walyon. How could Adrian do anything intimate with other won?
