She could feel soone pressing down on her, but she was too sleepy to care.
The thin nightgown was tossed onto the floor.
Adrian sprawled over her, almost covering her in kisses.
Sumr Sutton woke up when the last barrier on her body was almost removed by him.
She opened her eyes and looked dazedly at the person pressing on her, startled for a mont.
Then, glancing at herself under the duvet, Sumr was both embarrassed and flustered.
If she had woken up just ten minutes later, would it have already been too late?
Sumr Sutton was extrely awkward, her entire body flushing with embarrassnt.
She always thought he needed to bring her along to have any interest.
But to her surprise, she was already asleep, yet it didn’t hinder him.
How long had he been abstinent that he couldn’t stop once he had a taste?
Sumr Sutton glared at him for quite a while before squeezing out a sentence, "So late, and still not asleep?"
"Couldn’t sleep without doing what I wanted," Adrian’s reasoning was simple and direct.
Sumr Sutton was speechless.
"But don’t you have work tomorrow? Don’t you need to get up early?" She reminded him, eyeing him.
"Can we handle it in half an hour?" Adrian suggested.
Sumr Sutton was speechless yet again.
Can’t his mind hold so pure thoughts?
"But..." Sumr Sutton’s hand climbed onto his arm, gazing at him, she suddenly switched her tone, "Half an hour, is that enough for you?"
Adrian was taken aback, seemingly not having considered this question.
Sumr Sutton carefully observed his reaction, seizing the mont to convince him, "The company probably has an urgent situation, right? Why not sleep early today?"
Adrian squinted his eyes, seemingly pondering her words.
After a long silence, he withdrew his body from atop her, pulled her into his arms, and let her go, "Sleep."
Actually, one night doesn’t matter, since they’re already married and sharing the bed every night, she can’t escape.
Sumr Sutton let out a deep breath.
She had been sleeping well until Adrian woke her, suddenly finding it hard to fall back asleep.
She raised her face, silently gazing at him.
She was thinking about what he said in the restaurant earlier.
He ca back not really for the dinner she had prepared, right?
He ca back more for... other things!
Thinking it over, Sumr Sutton felt this was more in line with Adrian’s character.

The next day, it was still snowing in Northtown.
Sumr Sutton had an early class today, and it was Adrian who took her to school.
When they reached the school gate, a few female classmates from Sumr’s departnt saw Adrian dropping her off and joked, "Sumr, your boyfriend treats you so well! Braving rain and snow every day to send you to school, it really makes people envious!"
Sumr Sutton just laughed along, not correcting them.
The few female classmates hurried to their class afterward.
Sumr Sutton, holding her book, headed towards her teaching building.
Before she entered the building, she encountered Gina Sutton.
This was the first ti Sumr t Gina since the day she got the marriage certificate.
Gina stared fixedly at her, eyes full of hatred, her gaze sharp enough to bore a hole into her.
Sumr Sutton knew nothing good would co from eting her, so she had no intention of responding.
Wanting to walk away directly, Gina suddenly stepped towards her.
She got beside her and, before Sumr could react, raised her hand and slapped her own face twice.
